I read a post from faithful83 and I am a bit curious.....we are going thru a situation with our daughter where the doctors are trying to find out what is wrong with her. I am curious what the pft stands for that she was talking about?? So far my daughter has had 2 sweat tests...one came back positive and one came back negative....she has a blood test which shows one strand of CF and we already know that I am a carrier from the amnio.....has anyone else had trouble getting a diagnosis???

Hello Wildgreengirl and welcome to HW!

I remember you from the other forums (my son races motocross too), it has been awhile since I seen you post anywhere. How has your little girl's health been? What were her sweat test scores? Did she have the amplified blood gene testing done that you aware of?

PFTs stand for pulmonary function test. Here is a link that explains it (better than I could):
