Has anyone tried Zyprexa?

I personally never tried it but I found this:
Zyprexa side effects
Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Stop using Zyprexa and call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:

*

fever, stiff muscles, sweating, fast or uneven heartbeats;
*

jerky muscle movements you cannot control;
*

sudden numbness or weakness, especially on one side of the body;
*

sudden headache, confusion, problems with vision, speech, or balance;
*

increased thirst, frequent urination, excessive hunger, or weakness;
*

feeling light-headed, fainting;
*

unusual thoughts or behavior, hallucinations, or thoughts about hurting yourself; or
*

nausea, stomach pain, low fever, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes).

Less serious side effects may include:

*

dizziness, drowsiness, or weakness;
*

constipation;
*

dry mouth;
*

swelling in your hands or feet;
*

back pain;
*

weight gain, increased appetite; or
*

upset stomach.

I really do want to stay on the Lamictal but it is so expensive to purchase.  Unfortunately, it is beyond my budget and the representative who gives my Therapist (APRN) samples, was let go from her job about three weeks ago without any notice.  And they have not replaced her yet and do not know when they will.  Thus, there went my supply of free samples.

But, I did not think of online or discount pharmacies.  What a good idea.  I will look into it today.

I had a friend who took Zyprexa i think it was 10mg
at supper time or early evening..
it made them very sleepy & unable to get up early the next day
it really effected their quality of life,however
it did
help them to be stable if they took it regularily...
but sometimes i tink that they dont want to take meds
then
they get all unbalanced

zyprexa is good for what it is inteneded for
