Hi Neelah,

I am so happy that your hb is seeing a doctor.  I hope that he tells him all about his moods and irritability towards you and the baby.  I really hope that things get better for you and your baby.   I can understand how hard that this is.  And I am praying for you and your family.

sad to hear your situation, but glad to hear that your hub is finally going to the doctor. i hope that it works out.

if for any reason you still feel confused about things, just keep in mind that its important to do whats best not only for your infant, but for yourself.

Hi Neelah,

I am glad that things have improved and that your husband is going to see the doctor in a couple of days time. I hope that things stay this way and that the doctor helps to control things further. We will always be here if you need us or you fancy a chat!

my husband is now on Remeron and on sick-leave from work. He spends the day with the baby, taking car of her like I've never seen him do before. He says tha getting the diagnosis of depression is a blessing, because it confirms that he's not crazy and that there is hope. Now he is the best father I''ve ever seen and enjoys spending time with the baby, because he says that looking at her make him see that he did at least one thing right and it gives him hope for the future ... he even talks about having another baby when he gets well again ! Things are not perfect but they are getting so much better, I have hope again !! ! I'm so glad he finally saw the doctor !

This is the best news that I have heard all day! You deserve this and I hope it lasts forever. I know that nothing is perfect, but this is wonderful! I am so happy for you.

Im so glad that the meds are making a difference and that he is taking care of the baby. It must be a huge relief for you and for him as well. Keep us updated as to how he is doing!
