They have a way of doing things that you don't feel uncomfortable. A good one does any way. And if you do have a panic attack don't fear, they are doctors, they know what to do. And that will show them what you are going through. So No Worries. You will be just fine. There are some really good psychiatrists out there, they can read you like a book. The first time I went to the one that I see now, I took a list of everything that I wanted to say. Well, in 15 minutes, he covered my list and didn't even know that I brought one. I don't know how he knew just how to ask the right questions, but he did. I never had to ask one thing. By the second visit, he was getting me on the right meds that I needed for fatigue. I have fibromyalgia so I am tired a lot. I spent two years in bed from fatigue. After that visit, I have been leading a halfway normal life. I will always need the medications to function, but at least I am functioning.
So don't worry, they will know how to figure out what is wrong. They can tell by how you act as to what you need to. What you say, and how you say it. So don't get anxious about it, just be yourself. It is their job to get this right, not yours. You pay them to help you.
Good luck and keep us posted, if you have anymore questions, just ask away. I am glad that you are getting to see a specialist. They really do help.
