New surgery

shakehead   shakehead shakehead shakehead Well on Thursday I have to go in and have my gallbladder taken out.It has to be open surgery because of all the damage to the musle in my abdomen.It went septic when I was in the hospital in the first part of the year.Thay did not take it out then because thay did not think I would live if thay did one more surgery on me.I only had a 10 % chance of making it.So anyway it has been bothering me so thay did hida-scan last monday it works at 0 %.Then thay did a altra-sound on it last Thursday and it is full of sludge so its coming out next week on thursday.I will be in the hospital 3 to 5 days so please pray for me.Thank you every one Debbie. cry cry cry cry

Hey Debbie,

I had the open GB surgery and I requested a cosmetic closure..............LMBO.  Like I was ever going to wear a bikini? smhair I have a huge scar but my surgeon liked to look at everything...............most people do not have a large scar.

My best advice is walk after surgery.  Just get up when your told to by your Doctor and walk to get your strength back and everything working in your intestines.  I had my hubby there to help me in and out of bed and walk we did.

Hi Debbie,  I wil be thinking of you when you go through your surgery.  You will be in my prayers as well.  I am sure things will be fine.  Make sure your hubby takes really good care of you.  And when you are home and feeling up to it let us know how you are doing.  As you can see there are many people who care so much about you.
