ONCE AGAIN

I posted on here a while ago talking about a boy who broke up with me and how sad I was, and you guys all made me feel so much better about myself. Well... once again, a boy has got me down. We've been dating for about 5 months and he always says he'll hang out with me and then says "oh well let's hang out at 8" when he said we'd hang out at 3, and today he did the same thing, only this time he just told me he can't hang out at all, and it makes me feel really really sad. I told him that but he didn't say anything back.. I don't know what to do, and I just need some support right now. could you all help me out?

Hi Star, I'm sorry your boyfriend is disrespecting you. You don't deserve that! (((hugs))) Here's my advice, for what it's worth: the next time he makes plans with you and then changes them for a later time at the last minute, I would say, "oh sorry....I won't be available then" and make other plans for yourself. As long as you are available 'whenever', he will continue to take you for granted. Sometimes we have to teach others how to treat us by what we will and will not accept. It's not right for him to keep you hanging on the line like that, assuming that you will just go along with whatever he decides to do. He should have some consideration for YOU and what YOU want to do, when YOU want to do it! Try to fill up some of your spare time with friends or hobbies, and you won't be in a position to be dissed like this. Good luck, and please take good care of yourself.....you're worth it!
