I've been away for a while, but got back home from the beach, and found out that I didn't get unemployment. I felt like nothing was working out, and everything I was trying was failing......until today!! I found out today that I was accepted in the MRI program I wanted to go to! It starts in August, and is 2 semesters long, then I'll qualify for so many more jobs. I needed good news SO bad, and finally got it today!

Thanks to those of you that have heard me whine and complain, and supported me through it!

Hey Becky,

Can you share with me about how you got into the MRI program and costs involved? Would you be an MRI tech after only two semesters?

In order to learn MRI, you have to first be an xray tech, which is generally a 2 year program, either a certificate program at a hospital, or an associates at a college.

I can give you more info about xray if you're interested. Just let me know!

Becky, congratulations on getting into the MRI program.  You will learn a lot and then you will be very qualified for good jobs.  You deserve to have some good things happen in your life and I truly wish you the very best of luck.  I am sure you will be a success.

becky, that's really good news I'm so happy and proud of you, and I hope you learn a lot from the MRI program and be able to get qualified for a lot of jobs and land one. good luck to you and keep it strong girl!

Becky, That is great!  The medical profession is pretty much recession proof which means there are always available jobs, especially skilled ones.

I don't know you but read the thread and give you a big congratulations. I know what you mean about needing some good news or light coming your way. This sounds great. I always thought like someone said, how great it is to have a job where you are always needed--and you will be.
