Just dropping in to say hello and to let you know I am here and I do support you too.
I am sure you have had all kinds of advice on how to deal with the trichotillomania but I thought I would toss out a few. Engaging in activities that keep your hands busy — knitting or sketching, for instance are helpful. I use the computer a lot to keep my hands busy.
Ask family and friends to alert you when you're unconsciously pulling your hair. I know I have a tendency to pick at things and my hubby will tell me to "stop".
I noticed your thread is getting long and may I kindly suggest that you start a part 2 so members can follow along with how your doing now. It helps sometimes to start a new thread and I will be glad to post the link to this thread in a new Part 2. I am sure Karen would be glad to help you too.
