Hi people's my name is Eric and im 20 years old i have two kid's one girl and boy my son lives with me

and I got married at 17 and was liveing at an apartment that my father was the land lord for 3 years and

just got evicted from. because his girlfriend made up abunch of lie's about us destroying the place and doing drugs

so he kick me my wife and my 9 month son during the last month of being there i find out my wife had ben cheating on me

she was my first love we where together for about 5 years i no it was mostly my falt because she had done alot of the working

i never worked at an real job but some family jobs i sat and played my xbox my whole marriege did'nt do much with her but loved

her vary much and never stoped but she did'nt feel that i did now i feel like who ever i come around hates me or dosnt like me

as a last tamp effert i sold my game systums and told her im going to change and try to find a job but because of my failed effurts to

be a man to begain with she wants a devorce and i dont blame her so thats my story there is alot more detale but if someone would like to talk to me

hi eric. a bit has happened to you rather quickly in life. kids, marriage, etc. it is good that you have realised that work is far more important than your xbox! i am sorry you got evicted, hopefully you will find some alternative accomodation soon. since you have kids, and a family you then need to step up to the plate and provide for them. showing this initiative may help with your relationship. i do not know your overall situation, therefore i feel that you and your wife seek some counselling. you guys are young, and the guidance you will receive will be really important to you all as a unit. you have done well in reaching out. keep doing so. more members with more expereinces in this area will post soon. i wish you well. jamie

Hi Eric,

I agree with Jamie, I think that if you got a job, you would feel a lot better about yourself. You will be taking care of the kids that way and showing your wife that you do care. I am glad that you got rid of the xbox. That is no way to live from day to day.

I hope that you find a nice place to live. Remember if you are bringing in money, you can get a better place.

I am sorry that your wife cheated on you. But don't blame yourself. She did it, not you. Though I can understand you probably thought that she was fed up with the situation at home, but that is still no reason. I hope that she doesn't cheat on you again. It sounds like you want to make an honest attempt at trying. So start job hunting so that you can help out financially.

I hope that things work out for you. You sound like a very nice person who wants to try to make ends meet. Keep trying and thanks for posting here, I am sure that others will come on with some advice.

This is a group support forum. 

Support groups are a place for people to give and receive both emotional and practical support as well as to exchange information. People with health conditions, as well as their friends and families find support groups to be a valuable resource and get confirmation that their feelings are "normal", educate others, or just let off steam. IMHO joining a support group is joining a family and depending on just one person in the family is not always healthy .

We do have a chat feature if you want to post here that you are in a chat room and see if anyone else is available to chat with you.

Eric, Hi. I read your information. Sorry to hear all that is going on..... All you can do is take it one day at a time. Get up early, get ready go looking for work. Try to remember, its not what kind of job you are doing. Do something that you will enjoy. That way you will enjoy going to work. Also, there is a marriage forum. Check it out, i think you will like reading it. Check out the articles section there. They have lots of information, and most is written by marriage therapists. Its " talk about marriage " .
