Hi
I've been on Cipralex for nearly 4 months now. I don't feel that it's working properly. First month I was on 10mg and after that it was increased to 20mg. I do seem to feel better at times then I have relapses where I feel like crap again. Should I not be feeling a lot better by now? I am sill irritable and having a lot of weird dreams. Should I ask my doctor to change my medication when I do see him in two weeks?
Thanks

I would most certainly let them know that it isn't working well for you. It has been a long time and you should be feeling better. Do you go to any counseling? It helps a lot with depression. Talk to your doctor and let them know how you feel.
I hope that you feel better soon.
Hugs, Karen

ANTI-DEPRESSANTS HELP ALOT AS WELL AS THERAPY. WHAT IT COMES DOWN TO IS: IN THE END, IT'S UP TO YOU AND GOD TO MAKE THE BAD GO AWAY BECAUSE THE MEDS JUST COVER UP THE PROBLEM.

So I saw my doctor today. He switched me from Cipralex 30mg to Pristiq 50 mg. I shall start the new meds tomorrow and hope this makes a difference.

Hi there,
I take pristiq 100mg a day and it works well for me, I also take abilify and xanax. It is a good combination.
Hugs, Karen
