seen the dr. he was rather late, 1hr

and rather grumpy. he thx me for his

b/day card i dropped of, (12 dec), first

he advised that my lthium is in range

and that all my bloods were good.

 

i explained my situation, i just told him straight up-so he thinks i am avoidance coping by using a few 5mg valium.

i have known him for over 15 yrs. he just sternly said that he does not prescribe benzos, because i said what about temazepam at night.

 

wants me 2 halve the seroquel and has given me a take home sample of mirtazipine, yeah an anti-dep that is sedating, wants me to try half a tab at bed time. 15mg. also i have been refered back to the shrink, when i don't know. i left feeling like he thinks i just want to get benzo's to get of. i walked out and muttered my good-byes. he was just trying to get out 2 start his holidays. i heard him say it to a patient. 2 get here quick as i want to get the @#$% out.

Jamiee, it's Gem.  Try and get some good sound sleep sweetie and hopefully when you wake up, you will feel much better.  I know how crappy it makes us all feel when we are in need of a Dr. appointment/guideance, then we get there and are made to feel like we are wasting their time.

When you have a moment, please go to a great website, started by a PDOC call "Attitudinal Healing."  I think his name is Dr. Gerald (Jerry) Jamposky (close).  Great stuff there.

Jamiee, Is today finding you feeling better?  This is really the silly season (time of year).  I have been fighting going back on meds, I know that no matter how hard I try or what I do, that I really do need the help but I am so hard-headed.  Been doing pretty well for a while but as we all know, it eventually cycles back around and bites you.  Oh well.............

Have you had major med changes lately that may have caused you to feel so crummy?

I am glad you have something planned for the Holidays.  Well, I will talk to you later, am hoping today has found you feeling better and just remember all the wonderfully encouraging things you have said to me and how much I value you.
