Good Morning,

The only person you have to have a relationship with is your boyfriend.  I would not put myself in a position to let your boyfriend's family bring you done.  Be proud of who you are and do not stoop to the level of his family by being rude and not nice.

I would stop apologizing to his family.  I think they could be more respectful of you but remember you cannot change others only yourself so don't react to their pettiness.

I'm so sorry that his parents are treating you poorly. I know exactly how you feel. I've been dating my boyfriend for over a year and his family, mostly his sister, has had a problem with me. It was big of you to apologize to them, even though I'm not sure if you needed to. Still, you were being the bigger person :) I understand why you are feeling bad because when my boyfriends sister is mean to me I get really upset too. Try to remember that you are in a relationship with him, not them. They cannot change the way you two feel about eachother. I believe that if you two keep working at it love can conquer anything.
