Update...

Hey guys,
So I went to a super bowl party tonight and ran into my mom (she's friends with my friends mother). Anyway, she came up to me and said hi..it was awkward. Then, later I asked her if she could talk to me for a minute. I said mom why haven't you spoken to me in like over a week? She said, "I'm a bad mother" started to laugh,and walked away. I'm really sad and I feel like it does not even matter. Should I even bother contacting her?

Sorry you are put in that situation. i agree with jamiee, you reached out first that took guts, she may just need some time.

I am so sorry for your situation with your mom. Maybe she said it right saying that she is a bad mother. I had a bad mother too, so I understand. It is hard to think about. But my heart goes out to you. Just keep being nice like you said. You are a good person.

I guess thats all you can do, be the bigger person i guess. It would be her loss not to be involved in your life.
