Hi Mela, I've been taking cymbalta for about 4 weeks now. Since it just came out in Sept. theres not alot of info out on it yet. I've been reading alot of forums where people are saying its helping them alot. Its an antidepressant with pain reliever and inflammation reducer. I'm sorry to say its not helping me. But I also have arthritis so maybe that has something to do with it. I'm sweating alot and since I went off zoloft to take this, I'm now very depressed. I would say try it since alot are having success with it, you never know. But also keep in mind, its new and we don't know much about it yet. Go to fibromyalgia column and look for topic of cymbalta. That might give you some insight on how others are doing with it. By the way, its also making me extremely tired, takes me all day to get going, more than usual. Cin

I took Cymbalta for 5 weeks & felt no change. I told my doctor about this & he was surprised, as he says it usually works well for people. I've just switched to Lexapro & am waiting to see how that will work out.
