my boyfriend and i have been on and off for about 2 years. during the time we were broken up though he had sex with another girl and fooled around with another. i dont think he has ever cheated on me though and he insists that he loves me and everyone else says they can see he loves me, but why am i not convinced? and why can i not trust him? and why do i always have a terrible feeling in the pit of my stomach?

help :(

its funny cuz i read your post about fantasizing about other women n having sexual thoughts. so quite frankly a "cup of tea" with your girlfriend would'nt be so bad, we can talk about how you like to trash talk and get off imagining your friends. LOL dont talk crap dude.

just saying my girlfriend has some similiarties to you but I can assure everyone, i will NEVER cheat on her, I'm proposing to her soon anyways

woops forgot to comment of your post was distracted by el dip. trust is what holds a relationship together, me and my partner have bad trust issues and we constantly fight about little things. if you cant trust them it wont work, unless he's willing to gain your trust back. its hard to know that hes hooked up with someone else but if you want it to work you have to think he did it when you two were broken up so try and put it behind you, your not expected to forgive him but move on from it and think if the relationship is worth it then thats what you need to do

It isn't a trash talk zone, and wont be after I edit a couple of posts. I am sorry that you two got off on the wrong foot. Hopefully this will get straightened out.

Does your boyfriend give you any reason to think he cheats on you now? I know that you want to trust him. I think it might take a little time for that to come to you as he did go out with somebody else while you were broken up. I can see why it would bother you now that you are back together. Maybe you haven't forgiven him or something and it is in the back of your mind. Do you still feel betrayed even though he did it while you were apart? It would be hard for me, so give yourself a little time to regain your trust. If you do want this thing to work, you will try to trust him. If you can't then you might have to end the relationship as you will always have this on the back of your mind. So try forgiving him, even though in his eyes, he didn't do anything wrong. And if you were broken up, I guess he actually didn't.

I hope that you can work this out. Keep trying and have patience with yourself. Take care, do keep posting.
