Wife said she needed space

Thanks worriedgirl, any advice or comments are very welcome. Yea if she had been open with me the story may have had a different ending.

According to her mother though, she has a history of seeing more than one guy at a time. When I first started dating her she was actually seeing another guy as well. Even with the ex she has been talking to, she was dating another guy and him also. The cycle just keeps going and going.

We were married just about 8 months before she started talking to her ex. It'll be 1 yr next month, we were together for about 4 yrs in total though. No kids thankfully.

I agree, I won't be contacting her at all.

This made me giggle pretty hard, it's an email I recently received from my lying spouse.

"I am sorry.... You have no reason to believe anything that comes out of my mouth. There has never been another guy.... I wouldn't jeopardize what I have with you for anyone. I needed space from my mother and from you to figure out what I think would be good for me. I was tired of sleeping on a couch and I wanted to come back home. I didn't know how to tell you or ask you but now I know that is not a possibility. I always had a feeling that I was never good enough for you and I was beneath you, and last night you verified it for me. I wanted to wait until today to talk with you but you didn't give me a chance. Just let me know when is a good time to take care of everything we need to do so we can cut ties. I really want the rest of my stuff but I guess it doesn't matter I came here with nothing and I will be leaving with nothing. Im sorry and I love you."

I'm dead serious when I said I laughed and here's why. She said she wouldn't do anything to jeopardize what she has with me...what has she been doing the past 5 months with all the lies and betrayal, plus she left in the first place because she didn't believe we had anything. She said she wanted to come back home, I gave her many opportunities to do so and she never did. I didn't giver her a chance to talk? The night I called to end it she wouldn't let me get a sentence in before she hung up on me. And as for there not being another guy, well, that's a lie also. She said it herself "Emotional cheating" (even though it most definitely goes farther than that).

Time to start a new chapter.

Got some blood work and crap done today cause I don't know where my own wife has been. How pathetic does that sound?

Hopefully they got good news for me.

Need some help...

Brought my wife the rest of her stuff today, haven't talked to her in about a week. I unloaded everything and was about to be on my way when she started crying asking me not to leave. I ended up staying for a bit talking, mainly listening. I told her I wouldn't do anything for six days as I have another counseling appointment then and wanted to talk with my counselor to help me sort some things out.

I told a buddy about this and ended up making him mad. I'm pushing my friends away because they don't see why I would want to save the marriage. Has she done wrong? Definitely. Is it possible to get through this? I don't know.

Am I just making emotional decisions? Will I just end up hurting us both more by doing this?

I'm so very lost.
