Lets Vent!

Anything happen this week that anyone feels the need to vent about? I'm all ears as I have lots of things I'd like to scream about. Lol.

My boss is a jerk! My uncle was being pulled off of life support, I asked for time to say goodbye to him before I went to work and he gave me 15 minutes after my scheduled time to say goodbye!!!

I have bronchitis bordering on pneumonia temp was 101 and they wouldn't let me go home!! GRRRR!

I am so sorry to hear about your uncle. But know he will be in a better place. I am glad you did get some time with him.

It sounds like you have a whole lot on your plate right now. I am glad that you vented about it and started this thread. Others can share this way. I hope that you feel better soon, and that your day goes by fast so that you can get home and get some rest. Take care of yourself.

I understand what your dad must be going through, I will keep him and your entire family in my thoughts and prayers. I have said this before, and I'll say it again.... Thanks Michelle! And Jamie, thank you. Someone else finally vented :) lol

My therapist is sick until January so I can't move forward on my therapy till then and it is frustrating as I am battling PTSD and chronic depression.

update on angry husband-

came home drunk, screamed and screamed at daughter, she didn't get upset just answered him calmly, say he is moving out, I told him good, he went ot he kitchen and kept ranting to himself how I let Katie "slide", that I was ruining her and I told him stop being a coward and tell me to my face, that his idead of parenting was to ignore all the problems and then blame it all on me...He really showed his butt

I have made mistakes but at least I am trying...I widh he would move out but there is no money for 2 households...he will not apologize this am cause he thinks he's right

Theshadow, thanks for your vent. I know that sounds silly but it makes me feel better to see other ppl worried about self. Not to the extent of arrogance or utter selfishness, but at one point I was made to keep that anything that I said made things inconvenient or uncomfortable made me.. the B word. Family friendly :)

And Maggie, I wish I could give you a big hug! You sound like my mom. My dad isn't an alcoholic anymore (although part of me thinks you always are, youre just no longer drinking), but he is a.. butthole. Wow this is the hardest time I've ever had not trying to swear in a forum and it might still get edited lol. You are in a similar situation my mom has been in for years. She wanted to leave but there was no money. She's always spoken to me (well, since I was about 14) as a confidant. She was definitely still my mom, but she confided in me because he had her ashamed to bring her friends around. And he had everyone else fooled about what a "great guy" he was.

It was always more about him being a butt. Now, at 71- he's trying to hot the singles scene. What a @$%$#%!

Karen, no not butthole but I was afraid I'd get into a rant of which I'd forget to edit myself lol! Maggie, my dad is a master at the ignoring game. But so is my mom. So he eventually just starts yelling again and she says ohh wait, we are talking now? Hi. How are you? That gives him the red a**. Do you know what that is? I know a lot of ppl who are like what's that??

I decided that I have a rant today also, it just came out of nowhere! I'm ticked as all get out that I dated someone who didn't open their mouth for two years and let me know when something bothered them. They just let it build inside them, to the point where I got treated like absolute garbage and I assume validated it in their minds because they were hurt. This is all from my assumptions, but even my therapist has noted that the ex has lots of resentment towards me. IDK what the deal is with people these days, but if you love someone, let them know when they are hurtful or make you uncomfortable!!! I think she is so selfish and doesn't love herself to not even let me know when something bothered her and then just to run. It isn't my fault, many of you have told me that. I am trying to believe it, as I saw her not let her friends or family know when they bothered her.... poor communication!!

I refrained from typing in all caps as to not break a rule and it was hard! My ex from before her made a comment to me last week that once he came to his senses about how poorly he treated me, everyone had told him to stay away from me, that I was very angry towards him. It's funny how we forget these things-- those nasty feelings. I get so frustrated when one selfish person treats others like trash. As much as it would bother me if ex was nice to our mutual friends and they all got along, it annoys me that she is also ugly to them!!!!

My sister is very similar in the mindset that she just "doesn't let things get to her" when they really DO get to her. So she acts like a horrible, miserable person until we coax it out of her and things can be normal again. Sometimes I'd just like to say to people, " FIND YOUR SELF WORTH, GET YOUR "THINGS" TOGETHER, GROW UP & QUIT PLAYING CHILDISH GAMES. You're only making it worse on yourself and those that love you ya twit!!"

Alright, breathing normal again. Frustrated yet another day with the selfishness and inconsiderate behavior of others.

Kelsey...I am so sorry for your loss. \i will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Maggie...I am so sorry for what you and your daughter are dealing with.....I still believe good things are going to happen to you...You are a wonderful Mom and you will be rewarded. Your husband will wind up just like his bitter loney brothers.

It doesn't sound awful, Maggie. You stayed with him out iof compassion, but if its not healthy for you or your girl, you have to let it go. I hope you can find a suitable place. I wish I could help!
