Thank you gb~

Yea I have been doing my work for my fines or running to a million doctors so I am busy. I did meet someone and  we both decided to not have anything serious, he is a firefighter and I think we just have a lot in common  and cant get past that "friend" thing.  I want more than that but atleast I have someone to talk too once in awhile.  My life is so complicated and stressful I dont know how I do it.  I actually didnt go to work today because we worked out in the rain yesterday cleaning out ravines, I never realized how much people dont care about litter.  With the rain pouring down on us and there were only 2 plus the supervisor I was totally exhausted and a little fevered today. 

 

Well just wanted to let you know what was going on.  Nothing good as usual but I am trying.

That is wonderful news. That you have a new friend. You never know what is going to become of it. Time will tell though.

I am sorry that you had to work in the rain. I hope that you don't get a cold or anything. But I am proud of you for working. I hope that you do feel better soon.

I am so glad that you checked in with us. I know that you have been struggling, but I still always enjoy reading your posts.

Keep us up with what is going on. Have fun with your "firefighter friend". I am really happy for you...

I am doomed to be alone forever.   We have decided to just be friends, what is so wrong with me that they dont want to date me.  It makes me sad because im 46 and feel like an ugly grade schooler chasing the boys around the playground.  I am not willing to do anything I dont want to until I know it is right i used to go down that road and I refuse to do it again.

 

Just really unhappy and sad.

Be happy for sticking to your principals. If they can't respect that, they are not worth it. You are better off without them. You will find somebody that you click with. Have faith in that. I am glad that you made the choice that you did.

Hi everyone~

Getting ready to go to cleveland tomorrow for treatment.  I hate that drive but it has to be done.  Given up on the dating thing but I made several friends which I guess is better because the lines have been established.  As far as a boyfriend, I give up, I have hardened and accepted the fact that I will stand by my standards no matter what.

 

I have to get through an anniversary at the end of this month and the thought that I cant celebrate it the way it should be celebrated is ok because I believe I am the only one that it matters to anymore.  I dont know if that makes it harder to do or cry all day because I have come to realization that it only means something to me.

 

I found a new cd that I love because it relates to my situation or anyone that has or is in love......if you get a chance give it a listen.......Adele21.

Things sound a little better for you. I am glad that you are making friends. That is very important. And you never know they could be friends for life.

I love Adele, teresa...she is a strong lady...I listen to "rolling in the deep" on youtube and blast it when I feel down.

Friends last longer, teresa, if you pick the right ones
You are sounding better than xmas-it sucked for many of us.

Interested in ketamine treatments-how oftn do you need maintenance treatments?

I am no longer celebrating anniversaries that hurt me.  All I ever dream about is a card in the mail or an email to let me know it means something to them.

 

In the last year I have really seen how many people truly care about me and the final count is 1 my mom.  Do you know what it is like to not only have depression but to have no one care about whether you live or die.  This is not a suicide letter because I am way to strong for that.  That strength has come from being alone and it has hardened this once loving heart!!!!!!!!

 

"Some One Like You" yea I guess.   Whether that happens,I dont care anymore.

Teresa,

You are right. It is time to move on. Maybe make sone new friends and change your atmosphere. Surround yourself with people that do care about you. Forget about the past. You have been battling this a long time. Move on sweetie. There are others here who have done that and succeeded. You can too.
