What do you mean that he took all of your pain meds??? You need them for the pain that you are experiencing. Make him give them back to you. You know he ia going to just abuse them. I don't know how you live with it. You are being treated like crap. He doesn't care if you get addicted to them or not. Besides you need the medications for your broken leg. How did you fall down the stairs? Were you fighting with him? Or did you accidently do it? Tell us the truth... We care about you...

That is total blackmail. You are living in a bad situation. I knew he pushed you. Just by what you have said about him. You have got to get out of there. Life can be good. But living with him isn't going to be. Go to a woman's shelter. Call the police if you have to. You can't continue living this way and be happy. I am sorry for your life situation. You don't deserve this. You are a good person.

It sounds like you are trapped. Do you have any family that you can get ahold of? There is only one way out of this situation, and it is all up to you. You have to be the one to leave. I know you can't be happy if he is beating you. If you don't have a phone of your own, if you have broken bones... But you have to make the move and leave. We can console you and say "that is too bad, I am sorry", but that is all we can do. Unless you want us to look something up in your area as to a woman's shelter or a mission. But you can do that on the computer. Look for resources, options and help. You don't have to live like this. But as long as you continue to stay, you are going to be unhappy. I can't picture you laying there with broken bones and no pain medication to take. I am glad that you have the computer and you can share with us. But we are rather helpless to you in your situation. Like I say, we can console you, but you have to be the one to get yourself out of this situation.

I did what you said. I looked up shelters but the closest one to where I live is three towns over. Our local police does not have a website, so I'm trying other ways to get a hold of someone to help me get out of this house. I'm stuck in the upstairs part of the house with no wheelchair or anything to help me get around.
Last night I was on the computer and he came in and told me if I didn't stop trying to talk to people he was going to wreck my computer.

Your a smart person, so make that computer work for you and get outta there....
We are on your side and rooting for you so that you will be safe....No one

I read through these posts and the truth is, you don't need to go back to him. He treated you horribly and it's good you got away. And if the people who are helping you think you need to go to a hospital then maybe you should give it a try. It might really help. Please don't go back to him. Just get help. In time you'll see it was a good decision.

No one can lock you up without your consent, but you do need counseling and do not get back with
this person, he pushed you down the stairs and broke your leg, how can you be thinking of going
back to that, that is not love, people are concerned about you...seek out counseling and maybe
counseling and medicines would help you...we care about you here and are very worried about
you and your safety, you are a worthy person and worth more than you got from this one guy,
yes you loved him but he's not the only guy, you need to be with someone that returns your love with love
and will in no way hurt you....Love does not HURT, EVER....many well wishes to you...

LQ you need to go into rehab.
Frid. would have been perfect time. Once in rehab they can protect you and find you a place to stay.
You need to leave the bum.
Stop punishing the punished and get out of there.

Get your head straight and get strong. People do care, but they can't come and get you!

What do you want? More broken bones, or possibly death? This is a deathwish. If you can't give yourself some support, we can only do so much in this situation. We have tried to tell you what is right. And you don't want to believe it. One of the member's sister died, and she suspects it wasn't an accident. Her sister's boyfriend pushed her down the staris and broke her leg too. We are really trying to get through to you. I wish you cared enough about yourself to listen and try to help yourself. You got yourself out of the home, now start counseling to make yourself stronger.

Don't turn back now. If he loved you, he wouldn't hurt you. He hurts you in many different ways. He isn't looking out for you like a man should. A caring man... You deserve better. But like I said, we can only give you advice, you have to continue through the process.

See a counselor? Where are you staying? You aren't going to get better until you start healing. That takes a counselor. You need to get your mind straight. There is a lot of good in life. You just need to realize that it is there for you too. Take care of you and get some help.
