Just in case you haven't had a chance to Google that excellent book I mentioned, "Hope and Help for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia" by Dr. Alison Bested, here's the link to it on Amazon.
I have the first edition, and it looks like there is now a second; however, the 2nd is priced much lower, so I'm wondering if it's more of an adjunct to the original. The original would be the one I'd be inclined to recommend (yellow cover).

I also noticed that the prices are shown in Canadian dollars (I guess because that's where it's published). Anyway, I reference it all the time; wouldn't be without it.

I looked, and it looks like it might be harder to get the first edition. But I am going to try...

I wondered if you ever read or post on the fibromyalgia forum. I also moderate over there. It is a fantastic forum and often interesting topics come up.

I hope that you had a good day today. Have you started the new med yet? If so, how is it going? I hope that it works for you. I mean the maoi.

Hi Karen,

I have looked over the fibro forum in the past. What happens with me is that when my depression becomes extreme, it overshadows everything else and finding some relief for it becomes my main focus. But I will look into it again soon.

As it's the weekend, I haven't started any new med yet. Will be speaking with my dr Monday to decide whether to try the Adderall or the MAOI. (I'm already on small dosages of two other anti-depressants and 25mg of Lyrica, so the Adderall would be tried as an augmentation. <sigh> We'll see. The med merry-go-round gets so tiring after so many years, I'm sure you know!)

Good luck finding the book. It's worth it.

I really do hope that you give the adderall a try. Having energy to do things will help you to feel better and I think that will help your depression. It did me. I was so happy.

It is very dark here. Having thunderstorms at the moment.

Hope I don't lose power.
