Morning Everyone!

I'm feeling more & more depressed each day as my drug trials continue, but I'm going to challenge myself to check in here as often as possible, anyway. ...You're such an inspiring group of people, managing your own problems in unique ways. I'm going to try to read more about each and every one of you. ...Court & Living Well, I see you're both in PTSD counselling -- that's great! It's very hard to find in Toronto, right now -- lots of therapists advertise it, but then you find out they only have general training. I think we're a little further behind here in these specialties; there's quite a bit for Afghan vets and such, but they're usually out near military bases. Anyway, good luck to you both -- it's a complex disorder to tackle, but I've heard of wondrous results with the right treatment!

And, as I said, I'm going to try to learn more about all of you, but gotta go -- very nauseous.

1. I'm grateful for my family support worker advocating for me so strongly and consistently.
2. I love where I live, even though I am moving in 5 days. Grateful for the 18months here.
3. Grateful for my new counsellor who doesn't try to cut off important points in an effort to simplify things.
4. I'm grateful for my volunteer job that fills me with a sense of meaning.
5. I'm grateful for it being a sunshiny day and the Earth is showing just how beautiful it can look. (Mother Nature dressed up a bit here today :) )

It looks like it is going to be a sunny day here today. I am having the worse time typing for some reason. Frustrating...

Joyce I lover your "idle thoughts of a wandering mind". I get a chuckle everyday. Keep that up. Wish we could start a word game, but don't know if enough people are here to play. Seems like everybody is just poppin in here and there. Oh well... Maybe in the winter when we are stuck inside would be better.

Good Morning Everyone!

It's going to be a beautiful day here, today -- grabbing it while I can (high humidity setting in over weekend). Going to help my still very active 86-yr-old mom in her gorgeous garden.

Thanks for the sweet, heartwarming video of the kitty & the dolphins, Karen! (I think the cat is a siamese-tabby -- looks exactly like one we had, and they're an incredibly friendly little mixed breed; just like a dog, she'd come when you called her!) Anyway, vids like that really start your day with a smile...

BTW, Karen, if you see this, let me know if you ever got that fibro book!

Thanks for posting. It sounds like you have a lot of plans to get a lot done. Just don't overdo it. Pace yourself as you go. That is accomplishing a lot. I can't do nearly as much as you can. I am proud of you.

It is time to work on you, so you need to focus on you right now.

Good Friday morning... Going to be a nice spring day today. Granddaughter,  who will soon be 16 (OMG) will be coming to 'work' with her Dad today.  I'll be in charge of making her birthday cake on the 14th.  Any suggestions on the decorations from you 'chefs' ? ~ Joyce Idle Thoughts Of A   Wandering Mind:   If you're in France and you order toast, do you get toast or French toast?

Hi Living Well.  I can certainly empathize with you for your move.  I moved this past November from my home that I lived in for over 17 years.  Including my divorce, that was the most difficult decision and action i ever had to do.  I can't tell you how many nights I didn't sleep because I had a whole place to pack up with 2 kids who didn't want to leave and thus not pack.  Sounds like you are getting some help though.  I had some good friends that I could never have done without their help.

Are you moving far?  I'll keep you in my thoughts.  Hang in there!

Well we qare getting quite a crowd here-so glad to see "new" posters.

We had a juge yard sale planned this weekend, just woke up to torrential rains and expecting 6-8 inches of rain over weekend, road flooding and all.AARRRGGGHH!! Hubby worked so hard and is selling his precious woodworking tools, me just alot of clothes, books, knick knacks. We need the money to pay electric bill-oh well, it will work out.

I've got an appt w/ urologist due to blood in urine, no infection or pain. My arm is gettig worse, the whole arm is tingling like it is falling asleep and two fingers do not feel cold or hot...pain meds keep nerve pain to a dull roar thank God

KK's boyfriend cam home yesterday, We had balloons outside the house aand signs everywhere and silly party hats and those blower thingys. He just laughes and hugged us. Hie mother is too mentaslly ill to keep him, no father and brother lives far away. he was going to sleep in his car and we said not as long as we have breath in our bodies. I'm moving my snoring butt back inot master bedroom and Chad can have guest room. He brought us all gifts. He has a rare congenital disease that makes him exhausted jaundiced and in pain and he is still so sweet. katie really lucked out. he adores her. OK enuf of that

I hope those of you having a crappy day find something to smile about...I always go right for the dogs for love!!

Effexor seems to be helping, more positive
