Hey everyone!

Today is my first day of my face to face class this evening :) I just finished one of my assignments online and I think I am really going to enjoy this outlet of my life.

It is a little stressful working full time and also taking 3 classes for my masters, but I will stay organized and on top of things. It has been cooler here the past two days and very enjoyable.

Painting house shutters today, weather is in the 80's all week so I will get the last 4 done this week.

Only $36.00 final cost and they look great!

Applied for 2 more part time jobs this week. Sometime, something will pop. When it is right. Keeping the faith.

Trina, painting shutters is on my 'to do' list, too. I got half done last summer (and have been ignoring the rest this year). They're solid, not louvered...so not hard to do. What are yours?

No 'news' from here...same ole, same ole...BUT I did want to share the fun I'm having feeding the fox every evening. I think I told you about this latest addition to our 'family'

It's become routine and such a joy to watch. Yesterday, when 'dinner' was complete...he found a mouse and tossed it around like a ***** cat.(edit:  apparently that's a no-no word .  Should have said puddy tat!)  I never thought that a fox 'played'.

From what I've read...foxes like P & J sandwiches. Haven't tried that...but he/she does like Pop'em donut balls and grapes along with the dog food. Who knew.

If so,me too. In the "Dutch Country" area.

Foxes are neat critters,have a few in my "neighbourhood"(rural) too. They become familiarised to humans easily , especially if there is a 'reward' involved:)

Our administrator asks that we start new threads after 100 posts, they just become to long to sort through I guess. But that is what we do for him... I use to have a family of foxes coming in. I had them on video tape. They were so cute the kits. They would come out and yawn and stretch every morning. There was a mommy and daddy too. I think there were four kits. I would feed them scraps everyday. They left one day and I never saw them since. But one of my dogs got loose and went after them I think. I was so bummed. The dog got bit by one of the foxes. She had an infection. I had to get three of her teeth pulled and it bit her through the bottom of the jaw. She learned her lesson of messing with foxes. I haven't thought of that in a long time. Thanks for the memories...

I know the work you put in...and mowed...AND cooked!
We had louvered at our other home.

These now are not that old. Came with the house when it was built five years ago. Maroon color faded in the sun. Hope my paint job lasts longer.

Karen, enjoyed knowing that you've had a fox family. Sorry about your dog. They have to learn the hard way, don't they...and expensive way (for you).
We have cats, but they seem to be keeping their distance.
