Hi everyone,
I'm actually stressed out over money issues. Have a ton of bills to pay but not enough money. Trying to stay calm and not have a meltdown.
Good day all!
Hi JB1,
Believe me, I know the feeling and what you're going through. Too much month and not enough money(is that how it goes?). It gets me riled up ,too. On top of everything else, then comes this...
Take a deep breath (cliche' ,I know, but does help in gathering thoughts). What I do is prioritise according to necessities :
Mortgage(gotta live somewhere, right?)
Utilities(electric, water, heat - if you are of a certain income level you can get help with this...contact your electric company and they'll gladly steer you to the right agency.)
Loans(auto,ect.)
Credit cards,medical bills,misc.
Note , I've found credit companies(as well as some loan agencies) willing to work out payment arrangements to "catch up" or even modify them more favourably to you.
I don't know the depth of your situation so I've just laid out some 'tips' ,if you will, that I myself have found helpful in times past. Many are going through really rough financial patches right now, and these companies want to 'get something back ' owed to them; so are more willing to work with you. I also found just sending in Something, even if not a full payment, does show an 'attempt' ....
Hope this helps, I Greatly empathise....going through some of those 'rough patches' now myself :/
