I am not sure the wellbutrin is going to work...

How long have you been taking Wellbutrin for? Are you in therapy? I've been taking Wellbutrin 300mg for almost 5 months now. It took about 4 weeks before I started to feel better and cry less. After 2 months I was feeling better but still didn't enjoy doing activities, wasn't laughing never! I told my doc and he gave me Cipralex 10mg with the Wellbutrin and after a month of taking both, I feel really good. I don't feel my depression anymore. I did go to therapy during 4 months every week and that helped me so much, now I only go has needed. Without therapy you are only treating the symptoms but your not working on the triggers.
I hope your mood gets better soon and talk to your doctor if you're not feeling better. I understand what you're going through, stay strong, things will get better.

As said, it takes a while for any anti-depressent to work. Some do kick in faster than others, and Wellbutrin is one of the quicker ones.  Is this the first AD med you have been on? Sometimes it takes a few tries to get the one that works for you. I've been on and off about 5 over the last year and just started Cipralex two weeks ago. I know it is going to take 4-5 weeks before it kicks in (Cipralex has one of the LONGEST "working times") , but I am feeling more hopeful that I have in a long time.

Here's what I've done in the past (and I'm doing now..) when on a new med... Compare your day to yesterday. I mean really think about it....  - if there is even the slightest improvement, take that as a sign that things are moving in a upward direction. In my case I would get up (eventually) and sit on the edge of the bed for ages with absolutely no drive whatsoever. One day I realized that although my mood is pretty "flat" right now, I feel a little more motivated, not much, but a little, and that gives me hope.
