Hi evryone, I'm new here.
I was just put on zoloft 25mg for anxiety and depression. Iit was increased on monday to 50mg. I have noticed that my anxiety has gon way up more than when I wasn't on the drug. Is this normal when will it go away. I'm also taking .5 clonozopam in the eveningto help with increased anxiety and ambien to help me sleep. When will the zoloft start to work cause I'm feeling like crap. I'm super paranoid about my health and my abdomen is in nots.

Welcome to the depression forum. I would let the doctor know that zoloft is causing you more anxiety. Though it could just be a side effect that will go away in a couple of weeks. But if it is making you too uncomfortable, please contact your doctor. We all react differently to medications. We can tell you what has worked for us, but it doesn't mean it will work for you though... I hope that you feel better soon. Keep posting. One day at a time...

HAD DIFFERENT S/E. ALTHOUGH AS KAREN HAS STATED THEY
USUALLY PASS IN A FEW WEEKS. TAKE CARE AND WELCOME 2 THE

Welcome to the forum. If the doc put you on the drug to reduce anx and it is increasing. I would call immediately and discuss the reaction. See what the doc has to say.
