Hello. I started on paxil 4 days ago,but have been feeling extremely depressed since. I can't enjoy anything and I have suicidal thoughts all day long :( I'm slowly giving up. Waking up is a nightmare because I know what is ahead of me. I can't take this anymore!! Does anyone know If paxil is causing this depression? Or is it just my depression getting worst? It's hard to believe paxil would have such a negative effect in just 4 days. Please help. Anyone else felt this before? What do you guys recommend? I've lost hope

Have you let your doctor know what is going on? It may just be a side effect that will go away in a couple of weeks, but it may be something serious. Let your doctor know what is going on. Better to be safe. I hope that the paxil works for you. Keep us posted.
