I see it is time to start an new check in thread.  They go by so fast and before you know it, we are near 100.

Let's give a big "thank you" to JOYCE for all the smilers that she posts.  It keeps this thread going!

Thank YOU, for the thank you, Karen.. It's fun for me you know.

Listen guys...just need to get something off my chest. As you are probably aware John, my husband, is having some trouble with his memory because of his cancer treatments.

Today...for the first time in 52 years, he forgot it was my birthday. I feel sad... not because I didn't get his good wishes, but sad for the change in the man I've loved for so long. I hate to 'lose' him.

I appreciate that you are here to let me share my feelings.

Happy Birthday, and I feel for you, I don't know what I would do if I lost my Royce , even in mind.. You must be a very strong woman. I will keep you both in my prayers. Hope you have a good day.

so sad for your emotional loss, I can understand, I worked on a dementia unit in a nursing home for a couple years. Lots of Joy and sadness.

my neighbour has been very ill the past 2 weeks. doctor has admitted her to hospital. has blood and proteins in urine is very dehydrated and pale. i have her key as her dogs are by themselves. i have checked on them they were sleeping. will check on them later.

me, tired. was over at irene's this morning, have seen the therapist as well. currently taking it easy.

I hope that you have many good moments with John Joyce. I hope that his mind stays good. I know it is hard to watch somebody you love go though this. I fear I will have that with my John in time. One day at a time, and wish for the best. Slow and steady wins the race as Jamie says...

You are in my thoughts today. I see my therapist. that long drive. But then I am not going back for three months, I hope...

Morning All-

In a lot of pain this morning. Considering taking the day off but really don't have it to take off. But, it may be worth the loss of the money with this pain I am experiencing.

I can't seem to catch a break lately between physical pain and emotional pain........

I missed two appointments due to bad weather, so this is overdue. I hate getting anxious and nervous before an appointment, but it happens evertime.

I have an appt today with my primary care and am going to speak to him about my behavior and my concerns. I kind of wish my insurance allowed me to bypass him, but, rules are rules...I have to admit I am really nervous. Slept maybe a 1 1/2 hrs last night. I feel even more at edge and I already found myself getting angry because my cat was doing nothing more than being a cat. All I know is that I want to know what's going on, if I am bipolar or if it's something else. Before I tear down anything else in my life.
