Good staturday morning to all. Up early to see the therapist at 11am to day 2 hour session because I was naughty this week. Oops.

Oh well we will see who it goes. Sun today with temps neat 50, may some early hoeiing in the garden later this afteroon to get ahead of the weeds.

Good morning all!

Joyce, thank you for your smilers. The groaners always make me laugh!

I am so tired of being on this roller coaster of medication. I have been so weepy the last 5 days. I mean, I am even crying at commercials! What the heck????

We took away a medicine because I wasn't feeling right and my doctor thought I was overmedicated. He was right on one front- I am not nearly as tired as I was- thank goodness. So, I guess that is great news and I need to concentrate on that. I don't see him for another 1 1/2 weeks.

I know I can make it till then.... I am just tired of adding and subtracting medicine and not ever quite getting it right. My psychiatrist tells me not to give up hope... Sometimes my heart and mind do......Sometimes I feel like we will never ever get it right.

I just want to feel normal (what ever that is).

Thanks for reading my whiney complaint...

You will get it right Michele. Hang in there the best that you can. I went through it too. I have been on good meds for a long time now. I hope you do too.

Thanks Karen-

I won't give up. I look back on where I started and where I am today and I am in a much better place. The support I've received here helps so much too. For so long I felt so alone.... I don't fell like that anymore.....

Michele,

We all fall into these dark patches and have to wade through the muck! It is hard. confusing.
We don't quite know where all the emotions are coming from or where they go.

Journaling helps some when we are in the muck, helps sort out the emotions and find the source of our sorrow and pain.

keep processing, sometimes we have to sleep to process the bad stuff to come out on the other side feeling better. So do not feel guilty about napping. It helps to process.
Remember you are not alone, we are all here for you, to support, listen and care.

Hi Karen, Jamiee, Jennifer, etc.

Feeling so much better today. Still taking the Lamictal. Any of you keep gratitude lists? It's hard to do when you are sad but it helps me so much. I like to look back on what I have written when I'm hurting and think things will never get better.

Today I am thankful for my job, that I only have to work three days this week (yahoo!), my good husband, and that we are on the downside of winter, heading for sunshine. Anyone else have three gratitudes they want to share?

I had PT this morning. It's a new therapist. He seems good though. Don't want to judge too quick. Have another appointment Saturday. Hope it goes well too.

Hi All-

It's sunshiney and beautiful today here. I think I will plant a magnolia tree today in my front yard. Just need a bit of help from my kids.

Moondust, here are my three thankful things-
1) It's spring break!!!!! YAY!!!! I am off from both of my jobs for a week.
2) My children are being selfless this week and helping the elderly in the church. (so proud of them)
3) I'm happy my husband is off tomorrow so we can spend the day together.

You are right, it does help when I am having a down or hard day to list the things I am thankful for that day.

I hope everyone is having a super day!

hi everyone. hoping you are all doing well.
today i have my laser appointment with the eye man. it is so hot here, i am not looking forward to going out in it. urination not as bad tonight-yes it is the wee hours, pardon the pun. am awake partly due to some urination problems and part insomnia. am going to ask my pharmacist about the nocturnal urination to see if there are any over the counter treatments. cranberry juice is not working-oh well hopefully i find something that does. wish me luck.

It isn't sunny here today but it isn't that cold and not raining.
I am feeling well enough to do this...
Life is good in general...

Awesome! Oh, Jamiee isn't nighttime urgent urination the worst? It's hard to get much-needed sleep that way. I have to stumble in the dark for the bathroom so I don't wake my husband and I usually walk into a wall or hit my shin on a piece of furniture. Such is life. Grateful that I have legs that work as I saw a lady the other day with NO LEGS! Sad, sad.

I know "Moondust" is cheesy but I'm from the Hippie days and also need to protect my anonymity.
