I have mood swings I am crying alot do you think I should make an appt with my dr regarding this issue

I went to the hospital they want me to seek counselling and see a phsyc at my drs office they think I need meds to help with what I told them.

That is where I would start then. There are good medications for bipolar. You are going to be fine. Just do what the doctor's said.

Alexis, keep your courage and go see the doc. Very good decision. If you are bipolar is not the end of the world. Only a diagnosis for what you feel and how to treat it. Some very famous and successful people in this world have been bipolar, so no worries OK?

I am kinda of nervous I don't know what to expect from speaking with the physc my family dr has to refer me to the dr that works out of my own drs office but my friend I live with told me he will come with me when I have to meet with the dr. I really apperciate all the words of encourgament to help me get better I don't like feeling like this I just cried yesterday to my friend and said I need help I can't stand feeling like this because its bothering him now he said he has noticed a changed in my moods and being sad one min happy the next and angry we will see what has to be done. Thanks guys
