To NCOT ...
"The Walking Dead" ..... ??? Hey, it's re-run time, and for quite a while now. Just some trivia ........ (and you may be aware of this but) ....... it's amazing how many of the characters are British (and in one case, I think Australian). Two of the four major characters from season three are British - heard their accents on talk shows - and one of the daughters is either British or Australian. As violent as this series can be ... it is magnetic in its character interactions. And .... in the last episode of season three, the kid (10+ year old son) is about to become leader - whoa!!!
Diversions are good!!!
about your subject though .... I would guess that most of us have a plateful to handle - and sometimes it feeds the depression. I am sorry to hear about your Crohns. My prostate cancer when it came back for the second time started to affect my kidneys ... put me in the hospital three times in 2011/2012.
But everything with my kidneys has been manageable for just over a year now - and that's good. With a nefrostomy tube for my right kidney and an internal stent for my left kidney, I have managed to NOT allow those two things to hold me in depression. There's even a positive in the fact that I usually do sleep for at least 6-hours overnight - before having to get up (to pee).
Then, of course, there's the cancer itself - but that's another story - a long-term fight. It makes my COPD seems like an absolute "piece of cake"!
P.S. ...... did you catch the first season of "The Bates Motel" - especially after the second episode? Hmmm!!!!!
