Ask him about it and if he doesn't want to help, then do find a job, You may want to start looking soon as you will have the attorney's fees to pay back. I think. Why do you give your sister money? How old is she? Does she need financial assistance from you?

Try to take this one day at a time. It is difficult I know, but you do the best that you can.

My sis has health problems. I think she could do babysitting or something tho.

I would most definitely pay him back especially because this dui is my problem.

I was thinking about posting an ad in town. If a senior or someone needed help with something or a animal even for a few dollars it would help occupy my time. We are mostly done moving so my bf wouldn't need me around much, I don't think.

I hope you find something. It will make you feel good about yourself. And you will have some money to pay back whoever you have to pay back. I hope everything works out for you. Keep hanging in there.

What do I do @ dinner when he yells at his dogs for begging but gives in anyway? One is 17, one is 8. I have only been with him 2 years. 1 month and 1/2 living. The dogs didn't learn this behavior from me. And when the 17 year old gets sick in the middle of night from eating too much people food, guess who has to clean it up & stay awake to make sure dog is ok?

Then you need to overlook things. It takes practice, but you can do it. No matter who you are with, you are going to see imperfections. We all have our quirps. Go with it, make the best out of all situations. Maybe he is too old for you. Have you thought about that. My husband is 16 years older than I am. But we get along just fine. No body is perfect. There are always going to be things that get under your skin. It is up to you whether you can live with it or not. If you love him, you will make exceptions.

Butterflies you need to worry about you right now. Do you have a lawyer yet for you DUI case? Are you going to AA meetings on a regular basis and do you have a sponser? this is all be important to show you are trying to change and help keep you out of jail.

don't worry about a 17yr old dog that is being spoiled!

Yes, I have a lawyer. No, I am not going to AA. And its fine if a dog has diarrhea or vomiting. Have nothing else to do.

You just jump back to this negativity when offer solutions that you don't like. None of us are in your exact situation but we've had to deal with bad things. Frankly, the negativity isn't appealing. When you respond that way then I don't want to help anymore because all my help meets with negativity. I can't speak for anyone else, that's just how I feel.

As far as the dog goes, maybe you should ask the vet to give a very specific based talk with your boyfriend. If that won't help , then you have 2 choices. Ignore him feeding the dog human food or move out. As you said, he's not trainable.

I tend to agree with AV,

We are only trying to help you with suggestions and the experience we have endured. You sound young. But listen to older people, that is one of the ways that you learn. We have to do things in life we don't necessarily like. That is a part of life that you need to get use to. Honestly it sounds like you found yourself a Sugar Daddy and you can't live with the way he is. But if you want to be supported, there are going to be things that you need to do in return. That is a part of life. If you don't like the way he is, find another place to live, simple as that. The ball is in your court.

I hope that it all works out for you. We can only suggest so much and the rest is up to you. Try not to be negative, it makes for a misserable life.

You are very wrong in assuming that I am young or that he helps me financially (other than basic necessities). Or that I am not doing my best in housework, when actually I am doing more here then I have ever done.

But I will try to be more positive or just not post when I feel negative.

I do appreciate some people's comments. Thanks for the advice & encouragement.

If he doesn't help you financially, and you don't have a job, how do you two make it? Do you get disability? Have you ever applied for it? It might help you if you are disabled. I think you would feel good to have your own money and being able to make decisions for yourself. I think that the depression would lift some.

You sound like there are issues with this relationship. I don't know if there is, or if you expect more out of him than he can give. My husband is older and my first husband was too. I understand how things can get difficult with two different viewpoints. Just remember to give people the benifit of a doubt. Try not to jump to conclusions. We are here for you.
