Court is over!

I had the days wrong yesterday so today was court day. I was there for three hours. There were a bunch of people there.

When I got to sit down with child support enforcement people I gave them all my paperwork. Showing I have custody and have been legally disabled since before my divorce. They decided to erase all debt in exchange for me having my medical records faxed to them. It was wonderful!

My ex was there. He was very unhappy with the decision to the point of yelling and slamming a door. He's been ordered to pay a fine for his outburst on top of paying all court fees.

So it's been a good day. I'm tired and hurting now so I'm going to spend the rest of the day relaxing. I want to thank you all for the support and prayers. I know they helped.

I am so happy for you. Now you can relax and you wont have to worry about it anymore... I am sure that is such a relief. Did you get the AC fixed yet? Wouldn't that be a blessing to have that fixed the same day as your other good news? I hope that things work out for the best and that you have a really good day all the way through.

Our ac is fixed now. The ac guy said it just needed more refigerant. So glad to be home.

My baby girl is still sick. She's just lying around today. So far no one else is sick.

This judgement gives me the oppurtunity to get my life on track. I'm applying for some grants for going back to college. I've hired a new disability lawyer. I also have decided to pursue a divorce. I've been unhappy and I'm tired of his excuses for treating me badly. I'm worth more. I hate taking aware a caring father figure but my kids deserve a happy mom. The way this marriage stands makes my depression and anxiety so much more restrictive than it has to be. I'm scared of this step but down deep I know this is what needs to happen. I'm going to accomplish everything one step at a time to decrease my anxiety and depression.
