Anyway it is good for the soul!
Have you tried coping skills? like meditation or mindfullness to help keep you focus in the present? what about a support group? I go to one and find it very very helpful on some weeks.
Bowser, we have to help ourselves, medication does not do it all, so to say. It takes work to pull out of the slumps.
