HI GUYS, MOTHER NATURE IS REALY CRACKING IT HERE DOWN UNDER. WE HAVE 65 FIRES IN NEW SOUTH WALES, (SYDNEY) WE HAVE VERY HOT WEATHER THERE AND EVERYWHERE ELSE, IT IS ONLY SPRING!! COLD DOWN SOUTH WHERE I AM FROM, SOME WARM DAYS THEN BITTERLY COLD ALIKE THE LAST FEW DAYS INTENSE WINDS AND THE RAIN IS BUCKETING IT DOWN.

UP IN THE HIGH COUNTRY IT IS STIL SNOWING, DOWN TO 500 FEET, GO FIGURE!! MOTHER NATURE HAS TRUELY CRACKED IT. I JUST GOT A WALK IN WITH BUTTONS. THE WIND ABATED FOR 10 MINUTES THUS I TOOK HER THEN, NOW IT IS WET COLD AND WINDY.

I HAVE BEEN RESTING TODAY AND BEEN PLAYING TUNES. HAD SOME VERY DISTURBING DREAMS BUT THAT HAPPENS FROM TIME TO TIME. I SLEPT IN TODAY, DID MY SUGARS PILLS NEEDLES AND STUFF AND WENT BACK TO BED FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS. HAVE JUST HAD MY HEAD IN THE FEED BAG, FEEL BETTER FOR IT. I AM GOING TO HAVE A NAP AND RECOUP SOME ENERGY. I AM TIRED, FLAT AND JUST BLAH. I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM STEVE OR HIS EX, GOOD JOB I SAY, I HOPE IT STAYS THAT WAY. I AM SLOWLY BEGINNING TO ENJOY HAVING MY SPACE AND PRIVACY BACK.

WELL TIME TO NAP. SEE YOU ALL SOON. BE GOOD NOW MY DEAR FRIENDS.

Heeeeey Guys

Thanks for letting me vent...Shannon is a sweetheart, but talks alot and I find it exhausting. She plans on leaving Sat. I got up to pee last nite and then walked into the wrong bedroom-LOL-poor confused fibro brain!!

I haven't had the energy to read posts but I hope things are doing ok for all.

Will rejoin when our company leaves. Seems BIL still has a few tricks up his sleeve-lol.

Good morning all .........

   Another gloomy day ... this one with raining - maybe for the day! Our drive was a little early this morning ... barely light out! And again ... no doggies out there that we could see.

   Sure does seem like a sleepy day ... but loads and loads of laundry piled up ... out of lunch food and nearly dinner food ... no rest for the wicked they say!

   Hope everyone has more energy than me today!!!!!!!

Morning all!

My littlest dog Goose has a cone on because he will not stop licking his front paw. it is now an open sore. See the vet tomorrow for his montly shot for addison's desease and we will have the paw looked at.

Always something to deal with. $$$

Drinking the last the pumpkin spice this am, will have to get more it is so good. Polishing the furniture in the house this week. Did the bedroom yesterday, hoping to accomplish the family room today.

Good Morning Everyone.

I already went to my first job this morning then came home for a little nap. I just finished letting my dog run around outside.  I live in a condo and we have a huge back yard.  She is just so happy when I let her out.  She is a 16 pound rescue schnoodle who has a mind of her own!  Next, I will be leaving in 20 minutes for my other job.  I have to work till 8:00 tonight. 

Jamie...I'm glad you are enjoying your space to yourself again.  You certainly went through a nightmarish experience.

Rob..I need to do food shopping too.  Can I pass you over my list?

Hi everyone

It's rainy here in North Carolina and finally starting to look like fall, which I hate because fall and winter are the worse time of year for me. I get so depressed this time of year it's get dark early and gets so cold I hate the cold. Maybe I'll win the lottery and move to the Bahamas someday. That sounds lovely, remind me to buy some lottery tickets.

I fed the outside cats, one came to me years ago with six others that the neighbor who moved away left. Lulu is the last one left alive unfortunately she refuses to come inside to live. Sebastian came a few months ago and the two are finally starting to get along.

Going to start home in a little while. Have a good day everyone.

My gosh, scratches to all the animals! I miss my girls. We watched Marley and Me last night, and both cried like we did when our fur-kids were on the table. I lit a candle in memory of our inter-species loves.

Marley and Me made me cry so bad... I love animals, and am such a baby when it comes to them in movies.

Today... I should have left the house by now to do some errands. But I haven't. I did something to my back on Sunday and it doesn't hurt as much I just can't get myself going.
I feel really guilty about yesterday cuz' I got to my psychiatrist appointment late. I thought I was only 10 minutes late. But it must have been later than that because he left for his lunch when I didn't arrive.... and then he asked me about missing my appointment three weeks ago. I didn't know I had missed one. Then I looked at my date book and there is was plain as day. Usually I'm so good about remembering appointments. I felt so guilty, ashamed.... I apologized. I keep worrying he's mad at me. No he's not the type to get mad. Its just my worrying.
I'll try to be a better member too.

I write everything down on the calendar. I am already into January with appointments. That way I don't forget. Which by the way is easy to do. Don't beat yourself up about it, just try not to be late again.

Hey everyone!

I hope everyone has had a good day. Hubby is back at work since his surgery so life is returning to normal. Not that it was bad, but it was different having him home for 2 weeks when I'm used to him working all the time. Loved my day as some of my kids had "a ha" moments today in there math class. It melted my heart!

Well off to teach college I go!

I like the 'Aha' moments. This is my first time out of the classroom. It feels weird. I quit my faculty job in May.

Trying out a 'thanksgiving' dish tonight. We don't eat potatoes anymore, so am trying roasted butternut squash mixed with roasted cauliflower, and then mashing it. I added some shallots and olive oil.

Hello my friends

Hubby is doing much better. Shannon leaves tomorrow and frankly, I will miss her. She is very funny. Hub has NO family so it was so good fro him to reconnect.

We just had a nice seafood dinner together and are in our jams looking for a good movie.

I have missed keeping up with y'all but I'm BAAAAACK.

NICE DAY TODAY. BEEN FOR WALKIES WITH BUTTONS, DID DISHES AND BENCHES HUNG CLOTHES ON THE LINE AS WELL. HELPED IRENE WITH HER GROCERIES AND HAD A NICE LEMON TEA WITH HER, I DON'T MIND LEMON TEA IT IS A GOOD BREAK FROM COFFEE; ALIKE MANY OF YOU I DRINK WAY TOO MUCH!! HAD A NAP THIS AFTERNOON. HAD A ROUGH NIGHT LAST NIGHT, OH WELL. TOMORROW IS SHOPPING DAY, YOU ALL KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE IT, NOT!!! BEEN QUIET WITH NO HASSLES, NICE. HAD 1 VISITOR THE PESKY GLEN, BUT HE DID NOT STAY LONG. HAVEN'T SEEN HIM IN A FEW WEEKS, HE GOT THE MESSAGE AS WITH STEVE.

Good morning all .........

   40 degrees at 7am and very gloomy ....... what a choice day! Leaves are dropping like flies all of a sudden too.

   Well, it was a better ride for Gizzy this morning. He saw three little dogs but missed two bigger dogs somehow ... a pit bull mix walking and a standard poodle (hanging out the rear window of a car). Giz was still looking for that border collie across the street ... that doesn't want to go nose-to-nose with him. Or is it me? Hmmm ... better check my deodorant!

   Aha ......... maybe that was it!

   Hope everyone has a great day - hope someone gets some sun!

Howdy all

Pat is driving house guest to New Orleans this morning. I'll miss her but just went thru 2 weeks of mail-it has been sooo crazy around here. Old farts just don't like changes in their routines-lol.

Good for you Myself on getting work and bllnlllnnll (that's a Bronx cheer-lol) to your SO for being so rude. It IS hard to ignore, my hub is by nature a negative Nelly (wants solar panels for inevitable meltdown and wants to buy gold ((with WHAT $)) and God is really aliens bent on vengeance cause we have polluted our beautiful planet etc). The negativity extends to personal realtionships too. I mention I lost weight and he says "you don't look any thinner"   aaarrgghh

But I finally decided that that is who HE IS, not me and try to be grateful for my blessings. We just have to keep believing in ourselves Myself. You are superbright funny and caring and he is lucky to have you.

Good to see you posting. It is hard when our partners are negative. I see it a lot. But I try to ignore it or overlook it, I figure it is his problem not mine. Though it does effect us if we don't stay vigilant.
