We are off to the house of inherited horrors to start cleaning, getting a dumpster, all that fun stuff; now that the surragtes office is done with.

PS VISION STILL OFF, BUT I AM TRYING TO REMAIN COOL about IT. I GUESS I GOT FRUSTRATED. SORRY about THAT. MUM IS IN HOSPITAL AGAIN. SHE WAS IN 2 WEEKS AGO WITH A NASTY FALL, HER FOOT IS INFECTED AND THERE IS MORE GANG-GREEN TO BE REMOVED. LOTS OF OTHER EXTERNAL STUFF GOING ON AS WELL. SEEN SHRINK TODAY, WAS GOOD. THERAPIST MONDAY, BOY DO I NEED THIS, I THINK I HAVE BEEN DOING SOME VENTING OF LATE WITH PEOPLE.

TAKE CARE MY HW BUDDIES. SCREEN IS A BLUR STILL BUT BY BEING RIGHT UP CLOSE I CAN READ A BIT. AM DOING BETTER WITH THE KEYBOARD TONIGHT.

We have been busy clearing out BIL's apt since he passed last week. It's just a teeny 1BR. I am so glad he did not have a 3BR house-lol. We did keep hubby's parents bedroom suite-very retro 50's since Katie will be getting a place of her own soon enough.

We are busy doing scholarship trip-how tedious!

We are going to 1st crafts fair at her HS Nov 9th with our candles and pressed flower art. I am so afraid I won't sell any of my flowers but I guess we need to know if there is a market before we go whole hog

Post Halloween stuff .............

   Why did I buy candy? ...... again?

   Now I have to eat it! We had rain constant for 36-hours thru last night. Now it's back into the 40's and gloomy. Not one soul for Halloween - or one doggie either!

JAMIEE ... GOOD TO HEAR A LITTLE RUSTLING OF THE AUSSIE LEAVES!

Trina ..... I understand. My daughter, a friend and myself did the same thing with Mom's house this past Summer. She lived there for over 55-years. Doing it alone would have been impossible - hope when it's over, that some day pleasant memories will remain ... or come back!

Mags ..... same for you .... and good luck on the crafts fair.

UA ...... no spooky stuff I assume last night!!!

   Gizzy ...... what happened to all the doggies? Did the cool weather scare'em away ... or are we going out too late?

JAMIEE, SO VERY SORRY about EVERYTHING YOUR GOING THROUGH. HOPE THINGS IMPROVE FOR YOU SOON. MAYBE LOOK INTO GETTING A VOICE BOX FOR YOUR COMPUTER SO YOU CAN TALK INTO IT AND IT WRITES FOR YOU. BLESSINGS

I'm so very frustrated, been so very sore, stiff upon waking in the mornings and not resting good. Hand froze up on me the other night and took over 1/2 hour for it to work out, can't get into the RA doctor. RA doctor had to cancel my appointment 2 weeks ago and I understand but he couldn't fit me in until December 12 or 13th and I'm hurting now. I can't stitch in the mornings and I'm just frustrated....pm doctor is going to try to schedule a nerve block for the migraines...
Just really tired as well...

Hope everyone is doing well today!

Went to Quest For Life again today and had a good workout. Played a few games online with my cyberfriends. The cats are doing what they do best napping. My depression is still under control thank goodness. It rained earlier today but turned out to be a beautiful day.

Good morning all .......

   It must be very damp out ... cause the 39 degrees felt more like in the 20's this morning. Gizzy saw three dogs this morning ... a new one in the neighborhood - looks a little like a large Shiba Inu (not kidding!) plus one of the big Great Pyranees on our bicycle path and what was probably a pit bull cross about a mile away.

   Giz was a happy camper! And a high-pitched yakker again!

   Karen ..... we all miss you.

   Chartreux ...... hope there's a chance for a sooner appointment.

   Cat ...... sounds like yesterday was a good day for you.

   JAMIEE ...... WHAT about THAT VOICE-ACTIVATED HELP FOR YOUR COMPUTER?

   It's a Saturday ...... how quick this past week flew by. Hope everyones week-end is a good one.

Hey all- Last day at the school I was at. The teacher is coming back Monday. I have to say it hit me hard. I had really missed being in front of a class, feeling useful, doing work. Well, something to talk with therapist about on Tuesday.

BF didn't sleep well this week, since I was getting up earlier than him. He seems upset I am substituting, since he feels I ought to be ding something more and it doesn't pay all that much, and he also seems pushing for me to accept more assignments.

I slept until 9 AM. I am cleaning house, and making shopping lists. Be well, all you all.

Hi Everyone

I went for a walk today but my knee started hurting so I cut the walk short. The cats are being very lazy lately and have been napping all day.
I'm thinking very seriously about getting a dog so I can have somebody to walk with and because I just don't like being in this house alone without some kind of alarm system and the best thing to alert you of something not right around the house is a dog and I also miss having Levi around since my husband left and took him.

Good morning everyone .......

   I forgot about the time change overnight .... and panicked this morning for a moment - thinking the power had gone out!

   A hard freeze overnight but it's a beauty out there now - 8am bright and sunny! Gizzy saw three dogs today on our drive - all black or black/white. He behaved ... no screaming barks ..... thanks Giz! My ears enjoyed that!

   Hey Cat ...... sounds like you're prepared for your husband not coming back. You sound hurt ... hope things work out for you in the best way possible!

   If you were serious about a dog, try checking out the Animal Planet website ... Dogs 101 might be the place. They used to have a clever little set of questions you could answer - then they tell you the best probable dogs for your needs. That's part of how I chose a Samoyed over 2-1/2 years ago.

   Hey Myself ...... sounds like your comfort level was still high in the classroom. Hope you can find something a little more permanent ... and maybe a little later am start!

   Chart ....... a belated happy birthday to yet another scorpio! Hope you had a good dinner.

Morning everyone!

Beautiful day here in Texas. Wish I felt like enjoying it- I'm under the weather.

The house needs it's weekly clean. I'm going to see if my kids can help me. Husband is still layed up with his foot. He goes to the doctor this week- we are hoping he gets a boot and gets the cast off.

Myself- I'm glad you enjoyed your week. Teaching has so many rewards. Maybe a long term sub position will come up.

Cat- you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Chart- happy birthday!! Mine is this month and I've decided not to celebrate..... Getting too old!

Rob- y'all stay warm!

Well I'm going to go take my pain meds and see if they help.

Morning, Chawl.

Gorgeous day here in the mid-atlantic. Sunny and cool. BF is headed off to do laundry before football, while I am making soup, beans, and cleaning up the kitchen.

JB, I agree about BF. I don't get it either. He has anxiety problems. He also is overly worried about money, since he is 10 years older than I. It's a retirement thing with him. I mostly ignore him, and do what I think is best. I am unsure, however, if that is a good long-term strategy. He has said several times he is going to start going to a therapist, but as yet has not.

I am mostly concerned about my health. Though it felt good emotionally, it was exhausting with the fibro. Also, TMI time, I didn't use the bathroom facilities as I ought, which can be a huge problem with my crohns.

Get those kids cracking, Michele!

Hi Everyone

   

Today has been a good day except for the uncontrolled eating. I need to work on that. 

I thought that I had lost Toby last night, he's the new kitten who showed up on my porch a couple weeks ago. He didn't come home last night but he showed up this morning and loudly proclaimed his presence. He is a very loud kitten when he wants to be. He is no longer allowed outside!

I took an online test for my abnormal psychology class and made a 90. Which I think was great because I did not study for it and today was the last day to take the test.  I need to get my act together and start hitting the books again. This husband leaving  thing has gotten me rattled a little bit.

SHE HAD SURGERY ON HER FOOT AGAIN IT GOT REINFECTED AND SHE HAS MORE GANG-GREEN REMOVED. TOE MORE TWO MORE TOES REMOVED..

THE PLACE IS A SQWALOR, MUMS PLACE AND THE PHYSIO THAT ATTENDED REPORTED IT TO THE SOCIAL WORKER. MY TWO BROYHERS THAT LIVEE WITH MUM ARE FERAL. MEAGHAN, MY SIS TELLS ME IT LOOKS WORSE THAN A TOP. I MYSELF HAVE AN INSPECTION TOORROW. SO I HAVE BEEN FURIOSLY BEEN DOING STUFF. IT IS CLEAN BUT WEAS A TAD DISORGANISED IS ALL. THAT HAS BEEN RECTIFIED. I HOPE EVERYONE IS WELL. THANLS TO YOU ALL FOR YOUR KIND SUPPORT. IT MEANS EVERYTHING TO ME.

Good morning all .....

   We tried an earlier drive this morning ... just two dogs spotted - a pug mix and a black lab. Gizzy really is getting away from that horrible high-pitched bark ...... thank goodness!!!

   It was 46 degrees at just past 7am and partly sunny ... the car is all set with the winter tires, oil/filter change and new air filter. Now .... please don't snow until January!

   HEY JAMIEE .... AS THEY SAY - YOUR PLATE IS PRETTY FULL. HOPE YOUR MUM GETS BETTER ... THE OCCULAR INJECTION DOES NOT SOUND LIKE FUN ... BUT - CONGRATS ON ONE WEEK WITHOUT A CIGARETTE! EXCELLENT!!!

   Cat ..... congrats on your 90. I have a feel for the uncontrolled eating myself - finding that if I eat often, there is no nausea!!! Sound convincing?

   UA ..... I have to tell you .... Gizzy is afraid of his own shadow - or mine for that matter. Don't tell anyone ..... shhhh!!!!

   Myself ..... there will be far too many "Lambeau Leaps" tonight. I may need a couple of chocolate beers to get thru it. Actually ..... gonna go over to the local supermarket and see if they have the typical fall 12-pack from Sam Adams. It used to have about 4-types of brews - one of them was the Cream Stout ..... probably much like the chocolate brew!

Good Day Everyone,

I'm working from home today. I have very bad diarrhea since yesterday evening. Everyone home has it. We're suspecting it may be poisoning from something we all ate.

I collected my car last Wed. Can you believe I don't feel motivated or excited to drive it? It's just parked there doing nothing.

Cat: Glad you doing well.

Rob: It sounds like both Gizzy and I can be good friends since we're both scared of some little things. Lol

Well, UA-diarrhea makes car excitement less. When you feel better, you will feel like driving!

Rob, sounds like a good plan. Sam Adams seasonals are always tasty, except for the IPAs. I am not really a lager kind of girl. HAd a lovely brown ale Saturday, and sipped from BF's chocloate stout. Not at all sweet, lots of roasted barley and a coffee finish. Last year, I had a chili-chocolate wheat ale-nice stuff.

The 'Skins won yesterday, in overtime. I will think of you tonight during the game. Enjoy what you can!

Cat-give thyself a little break. It's so hard to get everything together when going through bad times. Scratch the kitties for me.

JAMIE-YOU ARE DOING SO WELL. MY MOM'S PLACE IS ALWAYS A MESS, BUT I CAN;T DO ANYTHING about IT BECAUSE MY BRO AND SIS-IN-LAW LIVE THERE AND IT'S THEIR MESS! I SYMPATHIZE.

Going to shower here and go to the workforce place. Have a silly interview with a temp firm tomorrow I am skeptical about-seems warehouse work. I might consider it, depending. Fibro, crohns, and a PhD. I can't decide whether I am being a snob or practical.

Good Evening Everyone

Today was a good day in most ways. I can't wait to pick up the new dog tomorrow! I have decided to call him Sammy.

I don't know how he will react to the cats; I hope he gets along with them. The cats just ignored Levi who my husband took with him when he left, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Sammy will tolerate the cats.

On the separation from my husband front....  I have decided that I do not want him to come back. He came home today to get some clothes and I told him that I was going to the beach for a few days to visit my cousin and that I had arranged with my nephew to feed the critters while I was gone. I told him that I would probably go during Thanksgiving because I just didn't want to go to the big Thanksgiving dinner with my family without his being there. His first comment was " You are finally going to leave the cats and go somewhere." and then in the same breath he says " That's your problem you never want to go anywhere." He also said if I go to see my cousin who drinks alcohol that I will automatically start drinking again. This is totally ridiculous because he leaves beer here all the time and that doesn't make me want to drink.

 I'm finally coming out of the "Great Depression" and I believe he wants me to stay depressed and dependent on him. That's not who I am and not who I want to be.

He also just plain out makes me nervous when he is around and I told him so.

Headed to therapist, then I have an interview with a job contract company. I 'think' it will not be appropriate work, but I am trying to keep an open mind. According to their website, it's largely warehouse work. Gym after.
