Daily Check In For All!!! #59

Good morning all ......

   Bright and sunny out ...... but 18 degrees!

   It was "Driving Miss Gizzy" this morning. No dogs out .... they must all be visiting for the holidays!

   I postponed yesterdays doctor appointment till Friday - since I've got about 3-days worth of antibiotics left. Still a little wheezing ... otherwise it's much better.

   Did visit Mom though yesterday - along with meeting the social worker from hospice .... nice lady!!!!

  

   Did'ja ever ferget about a load of wash in the washer .... leave it in there overnight cause yeh fergot ..... then catch a sniff a dat load da next morning when yeh opened da washer????

   OMG ...............!!!! Got sum laundry ta re-deux taday!!!!!!!~!!!!

   Happy Birthday Michele ......... hope it's a good one!

   UA .......... did yeh ever install that coin meter on your car???

   Trina ....... my former in-laws were from Holland ...... gotcha!!!!!!

   AV ........ I have NEVER spent Thanksgiving with my grandkids. They are ALWAYS at my daughters in-laws! Life does suck at times!

   JB1 ..... have a good Thanksgiving!!!!!!

It is sunny but cold this morning. I will take it!!!

Magpie, I am sorry for the loss of Sally. Looks like she had a good rally before she went though, eating and all. I am too glad she is out of pain. But it is a huge loss for us... Good memories only though...

Rob, I am glad that you are feeling better. Get them anibiotics in your system and enjoy your Thanks Giving day. It will be a good one for sure.

I just pulled into the driveway and she wasn't there...it's ok cause she is running thru green fields with ears flapping.

I made it to church and stopped in for a prayer for her.

Morning all-

I missed one day and so many things have happened!

Mags- I'm so sorry for your loss. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Rob- I'm sorry about the chemo effects. Pardon my ignorance, are there medications out there to reduce the discomfort you are I'm?

Karen- I'm sorry you may not get to see your grandchildren today but safety first! No one needs to be driving out in bad weather.

Trina- Enjoy your Chinese food today. We are headed to a buffet that is just scrumptious! No dishes for us today!

As you may have read, my daughters car completely died Tuesday in the middle of the busiest roads in town- she was terrified. Of course this was while I was getting my gift to myself- my hair cut! So part of my hair was cut when I ran to her aid. It's the transmission- it's a goner. So yesterday she takes my car to work and someone hits it and takes off. No note or anything! Well I was pretty frustrated but my CBT skills must be paying off! I wasn't upset or mad. It wasn't her fault at all and my car is still drivable. Please say a quick prayer for her today as she travels by herself to see her dad and his family.

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes!! They were so sweet. Besides my car getting whacked, I finished my haircut and treated myself to a mani/pedi. Ended the night at my favorite Mexican food place! It truly was one of the best birthdays I've ever had!

I'm so thankful for my HW family. You guys mean the world to me!
