I am on my 6th day of Cymbalta and started having nausea. Has anyone else had this happen and how long does it last?

Hi Wayupnorth. I am way up north too, In Michigan.
I am sorry you are getting nausea off of the cymbalta. It should go away soon, in a day or so... If it continues do call your prescribing doctor.
I never took cymbalta so I am not familiar with the nausea. But there are other members who do and they will hopefully post soon.
I hope that cymbalta works for you...
Hugs, Karen...

Wayup,
Nausea is common with cymbalta, drink plenty of water with the med and during the day, also eat when you take the med. I take mine twice a day, breakfast and dinner.
Peace

Hey wayupnorth,
I've been on cymbalta 90mg for 2 1/2 years now. The nausea will go away usually within a week or two, but can pop up now and again through out (especially if you don't take it at regular times and if you don't take it with food). I always take mine in the morning with breakfast because if I take it later in the day I can't sleep at night. In saying this everyone is different and this is just my experience. Lu hope this helps!
Xx
