DEPRESSION & DISABILITY

I'm just taking an informal poll & hoping to get as many people to answer this as possible---"Any of you suffering from depression (or "Bipolar as well)--get approved for Social Security disability ? If so, any on first try---2nd try, etc----just have heard so much about this----& as I've applied---just curious what to expect. Thanks--Robert

Hello Robert. I thought I would let you know I suffer from depression but work so do not get disability social secruity. But, I did know of a lady in las vegas nevada who did so you might just get it. I think it differs from state to state though.

I've been denied for over 5 years now and I have more than just PTSD and clinical depression on my claim. I even had a lawyer but I'm not sure how good she really was.

Brenda i am sorry to hear you have been denied. Like I said though I think it is different state to state.
