Hello .......
You know - there ain't one thing wrong with takin a day off every so often. In fact .... I think it's good for you.
It's very likely that nearly all of us on the Depression Forum are introverts. It kind of goes with the territory. My previous family of four was made up of 2-introverts, 1-semi-introvert and 1-extrovert. We function differently with some things - but we're not all that different.
Of course, if you ever decide to always take a day off - every day, that's not so good. It's actually giving up ... and then you'de be abandoning life!
I don't know if you are or ever have seen a therapist. It's worthwhile at least - and sometimes helps tremendously to get our head on straight - or to get re-directed in life.
Try sometime, to write a list of things you're grateful for in life - no matter how small or large. Read it a couple of times to yourself ... then see if you can think in a negative or a positive mode about most anything!
Oh yeah .... except for at least one of three dogs, I've lived alone for the past 23-years and alone with stage #4 cancer for over 3-years.
Being alone can be beaten!!!!
Peace and wellness
