Doc has a plan for me to slowly withdraw from Effexor with the supervision of a psych. Dr perhaps in a psych ward. We started today by dropping 150mg from my 300mg daily dose. That is all we will do for now as I leave on May 2 and return May 11 from a visit with my best friend in Dryden Ontario. A five hr flight from here or 16 hr drive. Dr will then introduce the Prozac 20. Dr also started me introducing the topriramate in 25mg doses every three days. So I thank you all for talking me out of doing this on my own cold turkey. Is so nice to have people that understand!
