i am forgoing the seroquel tonight.it is known to cause ncturia-albeit i have been on it a long time thus you'd think this would have happened many years ago. it seems after i take the seroquel and it kicks in, boom nocturia. i am burning some incense ad ging to do some things around the place. i am tired, if sleep happens without the seroquel, even a little-which would be a miracle then i will take it. i will let you know how it goes. wish me luck, break a leg, smash my head into the wall etc. see ya later.

Well Jamie, that is a big insight to say the least! It may take a few days to get back into a sleep pattern. I myself can not take seroquel as it causes very intense RLS in me. Nasty stuff if you ask me.
Herbal tea and a bad movie will work better!
Bless you and Peace

oh trina i hope so. but i have reduced my seroquel many a time to way below what i am taking for a week and it was cruel; no sleep ensued. maybe it will now, well see. i am thinking positively though. thanks mate. just done a massive load of dishes, soaking my microwave glass plate and soaking more dishes. got more things yet. boy i am tired. this makes up for issing my walk, we'll see.

Oh Jamie, I hope that this helps. Maybe out of sheer tiredness you will sleep. I hope it helps with the nocturnal. My kindle won't let me spell of course.
Best wishes mate.
Hugs Karen

arrrr, hb. yah, need to do something about
that quickly. will call for an appt tomorrow. will need something to replace it for sure. i would like to go another night without the seroquel, yeah i am sadist to see if i get the same result. need to see if this will do the trick, no seroquel. no use in reducing as it will still cause that NASTY run to the toilet cruel, demoralising, exhausting, frustrating and wretched nocturia. i may be tired, yes but this a major win. even my anxiety tonight is better. but i have aided this with a few comfort changes, nevertheless it is better. well.......the turtles water works issues has found some effective plumbing for the night. lets hope this continues. yay!!! and hooray. sunshine on a rainy day.

Ok, i realize i barely know you. just wanted to tell you that i'm happy that it sounds like you may have found a major contributor to your problem! Crossing my fingers that things just keep getting better and that you are able to find something else to make you sleep.

i walked buttons. lovely day. very bright. i forgot my bills for the post office to pay, tomorrow i guess. walked with less puff, i think the weather helped. bought sunglasses, i lost the last one. on special-bonus. i am going to lay down for an hour or so before next load of meds are due. left a message for the pharmacist, re: seroquel-other possible sleepers-probably the old ones might effective?? i also advised that the water works meds and the cessation of seroquel did the trick. i am alright to go off the seroquel, have done so in the past to see if i can sleep without it. i don't think i can see gp before my shrink appt but this one is better handled by him. see him friday. will advize. thanks for your support guys.

bugger me!!!!!!!!!!!
i got a few hours of sleep. x2 loo breaks!!
nice day, i walked buttons, avised my pharmacist, who was wrapped. moving into the lounge-room to sleep on the couch has definately helped with my anxiety. i can keep warm, hear the tv and not be isolated in a big bed.
hoping for more of the same tonight!!!

Hi The Happy Turtle,
I am so pleased for you. I hope that you continue to get adequate rest. I can only imagine how it must feel to get little sleep and it would affect my day for sure.
