Brenda- thank God you posted. I've been feverishly praying for you & couldn't get you off my mind.
I am wide awake at almost 2am thanks to my boy dog waking us all up with his whining to potty. I was also sweating profusely apparently in my sleep- don't know what's up with that
Anyway, please call Franco today & see if they can squeeze ya in. I've called before my appt in desperate need & they got me in. There are things they can add or change to your current med to speed up the process. My Dr even told me that when I called them over the weekend before. He was the one on call & told me that. It may be the med hasn't started working or that it's not the one. Also, there are things like Abilify or Lamictal (mood stabilizers/add ons to AD's), they can add to speed up the process. Abilify works faster.
Don't be ashamed or hesitant to call. Just do it. Please. Enough suffering already. Just make that call. Everyone is
open today after the holiday.
Please email me anytime. I'd be happy to even exchange phone numbers if you ever wanted to call if you feel alone. You are NEVER a lost cause or un- help able. Never. I know bc I asked my psych that and they adamantly informed me otherwise. I was even joking with them but you know us with our humor.. I presented as joking but it's a real fear.
Make that call and pls try and report back. We all already care and love ya.
Heartfeltone- you too have been being prayed for. No one understands each of our pains bc we obviously all feel and react to things differently but we have alllll suffered dark times and that, we get. Both of you are strong women AND good moms despite your struggles. I have prayed for your healing both physically & mentally. I, like you, admire Brenda for speaking her feelings that we are sometimes afraid or ashamed to talk about
.
Remember ladies, there is no shame, no matter WHAT you're feeling, even if it's very dark & ugly. Never be ashamed. It's better to get crap out than holding it in where it festers.
Positive thinking is obviously very helpful but there are times when we feel so scared and dark that it's darn near impossible to redirect ourselves by ourselves. That's when a crisis hotline or trusted friend can make a huge difference. Thank God we have ppl/resources like that, to use if needed.
I really do love all of us here and care so much. I will continues to say my prayers & we all have to remember not only is there help for us but healing as well. We are not permanently broken. Not even close.
Love,
Lisa
