Stop taking naps. Set a sleep schedule, and stick with it. The first few days are very hard, but then your body adjusts.
Naps may feel good, but they can really hurt not only your body clock, but also impact your emotions (IMO).
When you start to feel tired, do something. Some housework, mending, go for a walk, gardening, drink a glass of water.
Optimum sleeping hours vary largely per person. Anywhere from 6-9 can be normal. I log in at between 7-8, recently, on my current meds. If I nap, I realize that I am stealing from my nighttime log.
