If we could have only seen the world, perceive the world from behind those eyes, to dwell in a mind that that sophisticated brilliant perhaps the world would be a better place.
I have always felt that , I think that at the genius level , we seem broken else where to be labeled as ill when your the smartest ..... In the room. Needless to say he will never be forgotten. The world lost something.

My son was diagnosed at the age 16 with Paranoid Schizophrenia, he is now 23. He is brilliant when he is on his meds; he is a crazy mother ****er when he is off of them. I understood the movie only in the way of "the friends Josh had in his mind" that were with him. I did not understand how he was able to socialize and speak; I believe that he did not take meds, I may be wrong?
I saw my son yesterday to pick up his laundry. Sometimes he is moody, tired cranky, yesterday he was as normal as normal could be and he smelled good and he was happy and it was so fun to hang out with him. I asked him "what was new" and he was like, "just chillin, playin my video games on my IPad, no stress"
I took him to WalFart knowing that it would cost a fortune. He will not leave until he gets everything he wants. He will stand right by it and not move. For the past month I have had to shop for him prior to seeing him. (luckily, yesterday was a bag of 50 colored rubber bands for .68 cents and a magnet that cost $1.77. But, in total with his carton of cigarettes, case of Redbull, shoes, clothes, a pillow shaped to be on your bed for sitting up, sheets, soaps, Swiffer, etc...), It was worth shopping with him and buying what he wanted; it was worth the extra lots of money, because he was so happy. I love him.

Cherish those moments because they are the bridge over the bad days. That are your wax wings and ruby slippers, the happy thoughts in pixie dust. The world can be wonderful if only in our minds.
