In order to manage daily life, I construct a schedule. I am a bit overly-organized this way. If I have a schedule, I find it harder to deviate from what I have to do. This kind of planning gives me things to do and a time frame to accomplish tasks, and then I have less time to contemplate and over-think.
Talking to the psyc, is good, and a necessary first step. I also take Effexor, and had Wellbutrin added over a year ago. Combinations of meds work for many people.
Are you seeing a therapist? Objective and kind people help create a support system, and can teach coping mechanisms and make useful suggestions.
