nono i guess i am sad. no skype with lady lately, but this will change when she gets her new lap top. am tired i guess. life can be very draining. so i can i, on myself. i am just in a funk. put a new sign on the door telling everyone to leave me alone and piss off. i guess i will go back to bed. bloody cold. 6am, ut still dark. take care.

Hey Jamie!!! I am sure that things will be back to normal in no time. Life can get draining. Sometimes we have to recharge our batteries... I hope that things get better soon mate...

Sometimes we all have to unplug from the world and hibernate. I hope you are drinking lots of water to help the UT. If I understood the UT correctly.

taken a val. been out today. very chaotic at the moment. been destructive with my bank card. bad coping skills, thus i surrendered my card to my sis again. i have to at the moment. my control is out the window. i hope my lady gets her lap top set up for tonight. very overwhelmed at the moment. i owe e-mails and stuff. i will soon. thx my friends. going to e-mail shrink and see if we can discuss a med similar to abilify to aid in my thoughts. love ya all.

cheers my friends. shrink has fit me in briefly today. so back into town again, and then tomorrow. all at the same place, just different parts of the hospital!!! bugger. keep strong guys. keep strong CD. thx for caring, and to you all.

Oh Jamie,

So sorry things are so difficult for you right now. I'm glad your dr made time for you to come in for a visit. I hope the visit helps you to sort things out.

I hope your DL gets her new lap top soon. I think just seeing her face & her smile will make you smile, too.

I haven't been on in awhile, but you have been in my prayers. Hope you feel better very soon!

HEY ALICE. oops caps. i sent a shout out to you a little while ago. i am glad your still around. your message is on my fridge with all of the ones sent when my ticker cracked a wobbly. seen shrink. increased lamictal. in around 7-10 days to see how i am, e-mail, if not improved i have a script for a single supply of 10mg abilify to get me past this. i am in a bi-polar crash, with subsequent internalized psychosis. that's how i put it and he agreed. he said it is quite normal to relapse, and with my avoidance coping as well. i said i am still doing the lecture. details to be e-mailed soon. love you all. cardiologist tomorrow. hoping to see deb tonight. thx my friends. i guess i need you guys for a bit.

Awww Jamie, thank you for the shout out, that was so thoughtful. Just sorry I missed it.

I'm happy to hear you & your dr have some plans in place to help you. Hope you get good news from the cardio, too!!!

I'm not sure what you meant by 'doing the lecture', but I do hope that's a good thing.

Karen, thank you for your good wishes. I hope you are doing well, also.

I'm not going to hijack your thread, Jamie, but just a quick note as to why I wasn't around for awhile. In March, my DH had a terrible accident & broke most of his left side. While in the hospital, he had a cardiac event. He was in the hospital and acute rehab for several months. When he finally came home, he was unable to walk or use left arm. He was in wheelchair and I was his nurse. He is finally able to walk, after months of outpatient rehab. I'm still recuperating from blowing out my back from pushing the wheelchair. So we both walk slowly. ;)

Anyway, I'm very touched that you kept my message to you. I still think your a good man, w/ a good heart!! And I wish you all the best. Hope you get to see your DL this eve.

Rest well and I hope each day is better than the last.

hey alice. the poor bugger. been through the ringer and then some. you too. doing the lecture. i will be assisting the clinical director of mental health / drug and alchol services for our main hospital and services in our region in talking about self harm to med students doing there mental health component of there degree. it will be at our university which is apart of our hospital. it is a teaching hospital. the clinical director also lectures the med subjects. so, worts and all, i will be fronting up to a question session by the clinical director and will answering questions; to 110 eager young minds. another person will be discussing suicide and ideation. my shrink has sent a communique to my gp, they have rang!! bugger. peace and hugs.

Sorry, Happy Turtle, that I have not been on the forum for a while - physical health problems as well as overwhelming depression. But I'm sorry because you are always so responsive and encouraging to me, and I hope that this note finds you doing better. My thoughts and prayers are with you!!!

oh thx 60. i hope get better and stabilize. i am here for everyone, but i have definitely slowed down on the forums. the increase in the lamictal and abilify-which is kicking my but is definitely helping my thoughts, but it is like a massive hit of serapax. drowsy!!! maybe do 5mg. give it a bit as it is helping. sleep is wrecked at the moment. muscles are screaming. the nueralgia had been good for awhile, but it is biting today. back for a rest. love 2 u all.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. WOW! Your project sounds very exciting. I think you will do very well w/ the lecture. You will bring your knowledge and compassion to 110 students. You will bring to that class what books can only touch upon. Do you have a date yet for the lecture, or are they still setting up the program?

I'm glad to hear that the meds are starting to help w/ your thoughts - just wish they could do that w/o making you tired. Hopefully, w/i the next few days everything will equalize and you will feel better & also sleep better.

I saw that your cardio dr was very pleased w/ how you're doing. YES!!!! You have changed a lot of things in your life and that's helping you to get great reports from your dr. Way to go! My DH tried to stop smoking for many yrs, and it never worked. He had foot surgery yrs ago, and while he was home recovering he just stopped. I thought after he went back to work he would pick up the habit again, but he didn't. YAY!!! It has been 10 yrs so far.

We have had dr appts every day this wk and by the time we get back, I'm beat. I just didn't have energy to hop on the computer.

hi guys and gals. boy, some crazy 2 days. i am on the other side of 40. that side where you think, well i was just 30 and 40 seemed 40 yrs away!! bugger. glad about the smokes. me, 2 and a half yrs now. i will never again. so i got 2 hours of sleep the other night, and i stayed up all day and night doing stuff. i cleaned out my desk draws. 10 bags of medical papers, old diabetic stuff, receipts, programs, old computer paperwork, for old computer and other non relevant paperwork. 10 bags into the recycling bin. 5 bags in the normal general waste. today, been to the chemist, done my dishes, and it is dry, so i will get clothes of the line soon. nearly midday. sleep was much better last night. a bit broken, but i'll take that any day. feeling good. i e-mailed my shrink. idiot box turned off for a bit. take care guys. love ya's
