Countrydad...I'm wondering if you've had a "Functional Capacity Evaluation" done? After my 5th surgery, I had one done and the doctor ordered 'frequent rest' while at work. My job accommodated this by not keeping me doing the same thing all day long. I was working as a cashier at the time so, part of my day was stocking the shelves, part ringing up customers. They would switch me around every 2 hours to limit fatigue. It is important to get it documented and ordered by a doctor. This might help you at work, rest periods without 'guilt'.
Since being declared disabled, I have no 'supervisor' to limit my stubbornness! I'm probably not doing myself any favors, powering through, putting off seeing the PM doc. The weather has pretty much been dictating my activities. The heat and humidity force me into the air conditioned bedroom for 'siesta'. It's a catch 22. There is only room for my bed and 2 dressers and laying down generally means I doze off. No wonder I'm not sleeping well at night!
Joyce, love the daily tidbits.
HT, please tell Marty I day 'hi'. He's now an inspiration to me as well!
Hope everyone has a comfortable day.
