Daily Check In Thread For All... #132

It was largely due to the necessity of reduced portions. I had to use less fish than I normally would, and choose to do a nut-flour coating and pan fry to give it a little taste. Durned Weight Watchers. I am still debating tonight,though it looks like it might be leftovers over more veggies.

We had wicked storms roll through yesterday. Today is just the same, hot, sticky, and relatively grey.

I haven't had the electric types. Yowza. I have had just the needles. Down the street from us is an Acupuncture clinic, a pay-what-you-can place. Clean and tidy, with a good rep. I wish I could do it more. I always feel a great amount of calm afterwards and far less pain.

Hey, Jamie--Froome left the Vuelta--he had a crash yesterday early in the stage, and lost 9 minutes or so. The x-ray this am revealed a broken foot. He also told off a motorcycle driver. All that's left of the pre-race faves are Quintano and Valverde. Dumoulin and Aru. A little Columbian guy named Chaves, Rodriguez, et al.

off to to assess the med students on the case study. I am on a panel of experts, lol. I am the 'consumer'. or as they have referred in the program, 'life experience'. turtle power. been up since 5am. I think the brain is eager. my gov is on me like flies on.......as I have had 2 hours of work. will go in this arvo. oh no 4 hours all up!!! have a good one.

Bnot, try feeding you doggie some pumpkin. It's really good for managing "the squirts". Just make sure it's not the pie filling with the spices! Just plain pumpkin.

So, the steam machine on loan from the exterminator doesn't work. Bummer. I spent about 2 hours scrubbing every nook and cranny of one of the dressers, with a toothbrush, before bringing it back in the house! One down, three to go! At least they are plastic and clean up pretty easily but my wrists are hurting from the 'detailing'.

I haven't started opening all of the plastic bags yet. I can see water in some of them, so I'm sure there will be more loss. Keep telling myself 'things' can be replaced. Hoping my photographs are okay.

Will see daughter's endocrinologist today to get the results of her latest tests and what it all means. One of the tests was to determine if her ovaries are totally shut down, if there is any chance she will ever be able to have another baby. She will be devastated if the answer is no. Please keep her in your prayers and thoughts, her name is Margie.

CD, don't you love it when it's "your dog" when it's doing something 'wrong'? But, if it's being good, it's "our dog"? Hopefully more massage will give you more long lasting relief.

I am unsympathetic to your problem of being unable to complete the warm-up before the answers are posted. Yes, I do realize your smart phone has a calculator. However,for this assignment, you should use the school's calculators. Elijah,must we go through this again? Throwing up your arms in an injured gesture of innocence just makes you look silly.

LUCK AND PLENTY OF $$$$$$$$. ooops. caps. hey everyone. been in the yard pulling out a prickly busy, lopping tress, etc. 8 hours, arms cut, gloves cut too. had a thorn bush, sticks that come up individually. ripped down a side fence. cut over hanging stuff as new fence goes up soon. oh, lopped a good amount of the rubber tree, some is higher than the house. silly me had a climb, nearly broke me neck. hope all is well. the semester is over for the mental health block. may pick up some work in the hospital where 3rd plus students are starting clinical practice. who nows? it has done my self esteem wonders.

Will be sending good vibes for a successful sale this weekend, Karen! Hope no rain, for sure.

Grocery shopping in a few minutes. Usually go on Sunday, but have a double gas coupon that expires today. Must take advantage of it.
Last month we were able to buy 25 gallons of gas for $6.56 !!!!
Yes Six dollars and pennies for a full fill up.

Thanks you guys. We didn't sell a lot but it seemed to me like a lot of people looked. I think tomorrow will be better. I am dead tired though and need a shower. We were on the verge of rain all day and it rained all around us. So I am thankful mother nature was kind to me. Tomorrow I think is suppose to be sunnier. But hotter. Today I sweat all day long with the high humidity. When the sun did come out, it was brutal. After tomorrow though it is going to be 20 degrees colder. Ha!!! From one extreme to another.
