The advertisements you mentioned in the last thread irritate me too. There is a 'hide' button to get rid of one...and a time wait element for the second....but it would be nice not to do that stuff.

Wow Joyce. Uphill battle. So sorry to hear. I did 'get it' about why you needed to do the carpet, just thought you could use the 'chuckle' about things here. My dad became incontinent after a series of strokes and I've cleaned up my share of accidents. (((Joyce)))

Our plow guys had to come back again today. I took a 3 page letter up to the office this morning. All about what I observed and some suggestions for the 'next time'. Greatest concern was the clearing of the fire hydrants no being done and the safety of the children walking to and from the bus stop.

I figured they'd had enough people walking into the office and complaining, but the 'front line' workers can't carry that up the line. Can only do that with something in writing. Our manager thanked me profusely! She liked all of my suggestions too, so maybe they'll implement some of them. I think that people that live here are the best ones to ask for ideas. Not living here, no one in the office has the first clue of how it could work better. We'll see.

I had to open the path to the trash can again. Oh, well. I don't want to think about more snow, I can barely lift my coffee cup now!

Evening all,

Had a pretty good day, we'll to start anyways. Got up before my alarm, got my son off to school, laid back down, woke with a little anxiety that quickly passed. I got dressed and went to the post office, then went to the store. I also got to go over and see my friends brand new baby girl!! She is so tiny and just way too cute. Officially started my curse. So came home and took care of that.

Went and got my son and ran a few more errands. Then helped with homework and made after school snacks . When I got all that done I started my kitchen and wanted my son to water the dogs, and I went from happy to Grumpy in about .001 seconds as he started to whine. I did it myself. I have been in a "I hate the world" type mood ever since. Wow!

Joyce - I am so glad that you have good people that live around you. God bless that little lady.

Pitmom- good idea on the letter. Too many people just go in and yell and scream now days. So bad.

Karen- I am glad that you all haven't been hit too bad by the nasty weather. My gosh I didn't think the east coast would thaw out the past couple years.

I didn't realize that there were snow storms until I watched the newspaper yesterday. I'm sooo sorry. Hope all of you are okay...
Our TV is not working. We removed cable because the provide is removing lots channels and replacing with ones that no one watches. And local TV is not showing now because our antenna is broken. So no TV since first Jan.

Joyce, good thoughts and prayers for you and John. I'm really sorry. Hope the docs will be able to figure out something for John. That was very nice of the lady to help you.

Worked from home yesterday the electricity in the office was going to be cut for the day. It was productive. Back in the office today and we have a fly infestation. It's gross. Something is probably dead in the ceiling. Hopefully the pest company will come in this morning.

Yes, the ads are a bit annoying. I've noticed them everywhere now, even when watching youtube videos.

Second week of school and I feel like it's too much. I need more hours.

Snowed a bit today. I didn't go out. Just putzed around the house. Didn't accomplish anything much though.

Good morning this Friday...and thanks for your support, gang.

Warm weather due for a few days. That will be a nice treat.

John must have gotten up in the middle of last night (we have separate rooms).
The heat had been turned back up, (I reduce it overnight..do you?) the deck light was on and the kitty was still outside (22 degrees). Poor chilly little guy. Don't know how long he'd been left out!

Hope the rest of today is 'uneventful'.
