Furnace continues to act up. Sigh.

Joyce, got any clove oil for that root? It can numb it. That's actually what the 'smell' is in a dentists office. The material they use to coat the root before a filling gets put in contains clove oil.

Rain today. Most of the snow is melted.

I'm on a mission to help my daughter...Dept. of Transportation says she might not be able to drive a school bus again...something in the handbook about Traumatic Brain Injury with penetration of the dura...they are equating her surgery to that...trying to 'prove' they are wrong.

Taking neighbor for heart catheterization this morning...more later.

pitmom...so sorry your furnace is still acting up. Time to get the repair man down the street to check things out?

THANKS for suggestion of clove oil. I'll try to get some this afternoon. I see the sell it at Walmart, but a bit of a drive. Maybe at local pharmacy...we'll see. I do have an extraction appointment made for next Tuesday. First opening they had, first time available that I had.

I'm sorry, I've been an introvert for quite some time now. But I have still been following along. Like some of you, the weather here in Connecticut has been very dreary today with lots of rain. It made it real hard to get up for work this morning. My sixteen year old had her choral concert tonight so this is the first chance I've had to sit back and do nothing all day today.

I am a little worried right now. My cars check engine light came on today and I'm not in a position to pay for repairs. And I have to find a way to get the car taken in to be looked at. Hopefully, I can figure this out tomorrow.

I have been so tired and a little dizzy the past couple of mornings. These allergies are a pain. Meds help but not too much. Very cold the past few days, but gonna hit 70 on Sunday!

Mom and I got into it yesterday so that is nagging at me. Ugh! Well have to get son off to school. More later.

Cass, I was going to say the same thing Pitmom said. We've had that happen w/ the gas cap many times. I hope it's just that simple. Hope the concert was wonderful!

Pitmom, Hope the furnace situation gets settled. Your DD has been thru a lot, I'm glad she has you in her corner!

UA, I would love some of that sunshine & warmth, thank you! :) We are expecting more snow, perhaps 6 ins by morning. The last of our almost 3 ft of snow from 2 wks ago is finally melting as we 'speak'. Hope you are doing well.

Joyce, I'm so sorry to see all you & your DH are going thru. I know this is a very difficult path you're traveling. I traveled this path w/ my mother and I believe I'm on this path again - this time w/ my DH. It is breaking my heart.

Alice, we've had sunshine the last couple of days. This morning it's pouring. Probably our first very rainy day since the start of the sunny/dry season for us. I hope things are okay with your now and you don't have those stressful situations anybody.

It's a long weekend here. Carnival Monday and Carnival Tuesday. Nope, not the fun type of Carnival with rides, etc. Lol. It's Trini Carnival. I'll be spending mines completing assignments for school.
Got a dentist appointment tomorrow.

Joyce- I am glad it's not a busted pipe too. Lol Corn huh? Well that made me laugh a bit. Never heard of or seen that.

Karen- I hate shopping as well. Hope that it all gets done. I need to get out of my house too. I am so closed in with 4 other people here as well.

Jaime- Glad all is well with the ticker. Yay! I am sorry that the gut doesn't like the med. That to me is a bad reaction to the med. I can't do most pain meds anymore due to my tummy having a bad reaction to them. Stay strong.

Pitmom- Hope all is well in your little place.

Alice-I am sorry that stress is making things hard for you. I don't like stress either. Feel better soon hun.

UA- I hope all goes well with the dentist appointment. You need a little fun too, take an hour and go to the carnival.

Trina- Stay strong hun, as we all say this too shall pass.

I am feeling better. Dizziness is from spacing my meds out too far, good lord I never would have figured that to be the reason for that mess. Well now I take them every 8 hours instead of every 12. I have so many allergies that it is hard to tell what is triggering them right now. It may have something to do with the flowers in bloom, or dust, or the air (jk lol) I am sneezing like crazy this morning so it is working it's way out now. Broke down yesterday and cried, no idea what but I did. Tired and sore today, emotions hurt. Lol

Well that is my update right now. Will post more later.

Pitmom- I am glad that things are getting sorted out for your Daughter.

I agree with the Spring to hurry up and get here too. I am sick of the cold weather. I hope that the summer is not too hot though.

Pitmom, thank you for your advice. I did fiddle with the. gas cap...and that didn't work. But I also fiddled with my oil stick and after that my check engine light went away. I just got back home from having my oil changed so hopefully that was the cure all. But I appreciate your advice and your knowledge of the diagnostic process. I did not know anything of that. I feel lucky for dodging an expensive resolution.

How is the situation with your daughters job going? Hopefully, her doctors are helping her to fight this.

Boy, we had a lot of snow yesterday. But compared with last winter, this is really our first significant storm, so I didn't mind it. Everything looks so pretty here.

I hope things are going well for the rest of you. By the way, does Michelle still post anymore?

Mud and poop...ugh, sorry about that. More snow for us Tuesday... and that's when my dental appointment is. Actually, pain has lessened, so maybe I don't need to have it pulled . Hope a hope

Not quite familiar with your daughter's situation...BUT wishing whatever goes smoothly.

Husband's brother and nephew were here over the weekend. A lot of cooking and cleaning needed. Glad they came, but glad to have quiet time for a change.

Pitmom- I am glad that the doctor can clear that up for your daughter. I hope that things improve. Sorry about the furnace. I hope that you can get it fixed.

Joyce- I hope that the dentist goes well. I know about needing quite time as well. I need a month's worth of that right now.

I am so tired, I am trying a new system with my meds, I have gotten way off track with my times. So i have set 2 alarms so I remember to take them at the same time each day.

I am starting to think that maybe I need a few days away from my whole family. I dont mean that like a mean thing, but I need to have PEACE. I can not seem to find that right now. I got to my therapist Friday. So maybe he can help me understand why this is so stupid to me. UGH! Well I am off to relax, lol or go to kick back a little.
